Thats jsut plain rocks. My only complaint is with the head. For some reason the way the head is sculpted almost makes it look like its a human face under a helmet. The grey jsut has folds in it that make it look skin like in those pics. However the actual sculpt of the head is near perfect and the over all design jsut rocks.
Love how you kept the classic transformation but with much more detail and articulation. I can jsut see him marching across the battlefield firing blasts off from him chest, Pow Bam Zoom.
I give this about five minutes before the normal Tramp "treads can't break like that" rant to begin of course. (note to Tramp thats said in a joking manner, please don't take offense.)
Wow. I seriously just saved all the pics to my hard drive as a reference point for what a Masterpiece ought to be. How much articulation can he make real use of in being posed? And what on earth did you use to build him? He's terrific!
blimey that is amazing, but personaly i wouldnt want that in the collection it looks too red and all, if i were you i would give it away to someone with a piranacon in there name
love the head sculpt too looks very profesional, onlyt thing id change if anthing would be the skinny lower legs
Though I never liked warpaths charachter in the show, you did him perfectly. Great figure you made there. Would you mind explaining the transformation?
I see the gundam arms and legs, and a tank model kit. Those treads look familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. Mind telling us what parts they are too?
Mench0y i must say that out of the various kit bashes this one is impressive being the kit person to do a masterpiece of warpath wam bam and thank you mam
Hello again everyone.. Just wanted to share something I recently discovered about Warpath. I recognize that it's color seems to change with different lighting. In bright lighting such as the sun it seems to have an orangey reddish color, and with darker lighting it seems to be a really dark red so I took a picture as you guys can see in the picture below. I don't know if you guys can see it, but it totally shows in person. It's pretty weird but very cool at the same time. It's the first flat colored custom transformers I made so maybe flat colors tend to do that, I don't know.
that pic with hound kinda news a caption like i am sure you was shorter then me or something either that or Look at the size of that weapon i feel so small
As I mentionerd in the other thread, before it went “bye-bye”, the only thing I don’t like about this model is that the treads are broken, which really wasn’t necessary given this transformation. It would have been better if the full track assemblies made up the backpack rather than splitting the tracks between the back and calves. Either that or have the full track assemblies were attached to the feet.
I still say there's no reason that TFs couldn't have the necessary mechanisms to allow the tracks to seperate. There could be all manner of technology in each one of those track links. They don't have to be the simple metal plates of earth tanks.
Anyway. It's an awesome build. I'm not overly fond of that era of tank (What is that, a Pershing?) but over all the thing looks great. I'd love to see some more dynamicly posed shots of him.
