The War Within animated--demo 3, and an opening for voice auditions.

Hello again everyone,
As some of you may know from other forums, I’ve been working on making an animated version of the Transformers comic “The War Within.” So far I’ve shown two rough cuts of an opening sequence to show what I had in mind. These rough cuts were mostly a learning curve as I tried to figure out what software programs would work best for me and what the programs themselves can actually do.
Now I’ve finished my third demo, and I think most of you will agree that it’s a vast improvement. Rather than re-film the destruction of the tower from page 1 (it will be re-animated at a later date—I think I’ll be able to use some shots from the Megatron: Origin comic that have Sentinel Prime in them, once the issue is out), I went ahead and filmed the next third of the issue.
Included in this version is the discussion between Prime & Bluestreak and the first big battle where the Autobots loose Altihex. As there is no recorded dialogue yet, some of you may wish to skip over the Prime & Bluestreak discussion bit and go straight to the battle sequence (only so exciting one can make mouths moving, after all ;D ), though I do try to make things a bit interesting with droids moving in the background, etc.
I tried to take in a lot of folks comments about pacing and animating smoke—smoke is now there, and moves (and is transparent, in some cases!) and as 1/3 of the comic is over in 3 min., I think it moves at a decently quick pace.
A youtube link to it is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRO-dZJEs_4
Is this a finished cut? No… but it’s getting a lot closer to it. And as such, I believe it’s a good time to start opening up the calls for voice actors!
I’d like if at all possible to have the characters sound close to the “feel” of the characters as possible: that doesn’t mean you have to sound exactly like the G1 cast, but have a voice that fits the same characteristics (for example Kup in the movie and Kup in the cartoon were voiced by 2 different guys, but both voices were in the same vein).
Here's a list of the characters...
Major characters (for issue 1):
Optimus Prime: Looking for someone who can make a before/after matrix Prime voice (pre-matrix Prime should sound somewhat younger, post-matrix like the Prime we all know)
Megatron: Can be like Welker, or just have shades of Welker. Or even something different, if you think it will fit. Surprise me!
Grimlock: Looking to experiment more with his voice. Should not sound “stupid,” as comic book Grimlock is not the dummy from the cartoon, but a tough non-nonsense warrior.
Minor characters:
Narrator (open to interpretation)
Gravitas (learned old robot voice / open to inter)
Skywarp
Thundercracker
Bluestreak
Ironhide
Kup
Prowl
Jazz
Bit parts:
Bumblebee
Trailbreaker
Hound
Tracks
Skids
Darklight
Un-named assassin
Un-named blown apart robot
Various neutrals
And that’s just Issue 1! If you would like to do more than one voice, that’s perfectly fine. There’s lots to choose from, so should be something for everyone, should you be interested.
Those interested can send a “small” demo to my email address at Nigelandbecka@bellsouth.net or email a link to find it if you’ve got the ability to post it elsewhere.
Comments, suggestions, good dirty jokes… all are appreciated.
Thanks in advance all!
PS--the very last frame of the battle (the cars rolling out of the smoke) has not yet been animated, but a placeholder pic was included for now to finish the portion for upload purposes).
