Hi all, just joined the group so thought I'd introduce myself by posting some pics of my collection. It all started for me back in the mid-80s when my grandfather started to buy me G1 TFs for Christmas. And I still have most of the now vintage toys with me! Here's some of what I have left from back then.

I had heard of the older MP Transformers, and a few years ago was very close to getting MP-1 and MP-5. But I held off, and luckily they rebooted the whole line with MP-10. So my Masterpiece collecting began, and now I have them all from MP-8 onwards. Loving how the line has really taken off in the past year or two! Here are some pics of my MP collection :)

Any chance we can see the whole room set-up?

Also, this is a gorgeous pose:

Of course! I wasnt sure if I was meant to post non-TF related pics, but if you'd like to see the rest of the room, I'll post some pics up here. Let me find a few, be back in a few minutes :)

You mean the large shelf with the 5 x 5 cubicles? That's the Ikea Expedit shelf with the optional glass door inserts/shelves installed.

They're pretty good for smaller figures, so 3.75" to 6/7" figures look pretty nice in them. Not so good for the larger figures such as MP TFs or 1/6th scale figures.

The larger one is the Masterpiece MP-13 Soundwave with MP-15/MP-16 Cassettes. The smaller one on the right is the original vintage G1 Soundwave toy and its cassettes.

As far as vintage toys go in the Transformers world, you can't get much more iconic than G1 Optimus Prime!

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the G1 Transformers, I'll be doing little retrospective videos on the main characters in my original G1 collection that I've had since 1984.

And there's no better character to start with than Optimus Prime! The video is uploading right now to the Kool Kollectibles youtube channel, so hope you can stay tuned for that. For now, just enjoy this simple pic of an awesome toy from a simpler time :)

My first ever Transformer was Soundwave and his minions, given to me by my grandfather for Christmas.

He's pretty banged up now, with lots of missing paint and ridiculously loose joints. But it's just a priceless toy for me now with all the nostalgia and memories that it brings back.

I mess around with it every now and then, and it still brings a smile to my face
