I had thought he might be too colorful and have to slash a lot, but here it doesn't look like all that much, I can't way to see him with his full paints.

Preordered it at 2:30am est along with the Ark set.I was expecting it to run $100 before I even found out about the diecast so $80 is too sweet to pass up. Still waiting on the Protector though.

Now I'm waiting for them to tackle Galvatron, Blurr, Arcee & Kup! Wishful thinking, I know...

Pre-ordered. Too good to pass up, althought I may have to let a few other items go to make some space, and some cash!

This will be very telling about Fans Project. This will be the first time an entire figure will be made by them, and things that many of us take for granted based on Hasbro/Tak's years of experience will not be guaranteed.

Plastic quality is one of them. With add-on kits you still have a base figure beneath it to tie everything together. Most importantly joints and moving parts. FP items did have these (folding bits on CC, or much of the G3 trailer) From what I have experience these things are pretty good on them, but then again these are accessories and thus don't really require the level of quality the base figure would. I have this pre-ordered and am very excited, but I am still a little iffy and crossing my fingers that the final product is of high quality in all areas. That's a lot to expect from such a small group working with limited resources.

Also, I think its cool they give love to Season 3 characters (UM, Rodiums, Springer) It may be telling what their next products may be. Arcee, Galvatron and Blitzwing are three season three characters that never had great toys to this day. Maybe we will luck out and get a terrific Galv in the next few years.

I have a bit of concern for this too, but I'm willing to take a chance with FP, I've not yet been disappointed with any of their add-on sets (City Commander, G3 Trailer, Aerial Team add-ons) and have strong hopes they'll be able to carry quality to a full new figure.

Now if we could just get a half-decent drill machine for Twin Twist, and you'd be able to put a good group of Wreckers together.
Springer - Warbot Defender (U2.0 Springer is a standin right now)
Roadbuster - U2.0 Roadbuster
Whirl - Incinerator (IDW? gave him big prop-claw hands so it works. Mold looks pretty G1ish)
Sandstorm - Movie Landmine (pretriplechanger)
Broadside - Energon Mirage/Dreadwind mold (with fake flight mode)
Topspin - Energon Skyblast mold

A little bit of me just died. I really wanted them for my classic Starscream. Oh well.

When I last spoke with them, they won't be producing the Mega-Blasters or the light up UC Matrix. Both are too close to the official products and they felt they would be crossing the line.

Believe me when I say I love these guys products. However, their logic is redonkulous. None of their previous product crossed that line? Really? Lol! I hope to God Hasbro can stifle their urges to shut these guys down because I get more and more excited with each new release from FP. Oh, and pre-ordered, dur.

Arcee preferably would be nice. Road Buster? CMS has one...........about US$200. Kup is an existing mold, doubtful. But one can always hope for Arcee............

Well because the Gun Mode Megatrons are identical scaled down models of the Classics and Henkei versions it would be copyright infringement. Same goes with the light up matrix because it came with an Autobot logo as a base.

That's why they can get away with the things they do, because H/TT aren't using the same molds. Proof is in the pudding. We've all wanted a Springer figure forever and all we ever get it "it's too hard to do and it's too expensive" well FP stepped up and we got what we wanted. Everyone wins in my eyes.

Both Henkei and Classics rodimus/Hot Rod are climbing in price pretty quick and will be even worse when Protector armor hits. Same thing happened with Magnus. I remember that they were going for less than 10 bucks a piece with shipping on ebay before the City Commander Armor was announced. people only wanted the Skywarp. Keep an eye out on ebay, I scored a loose Classics there last week for 20 bucks shipped.
