Thought the HasTak classics deluxe toys for mirage and wreckgar were more miss than hit. Think these UT DX9 toys for Mirage and Wreckgar are clearly better than the HasTak toys. If the UT DX9 toys go on clearance for $30 to to $50, then I might consider buying them.

I don't understand the "these are awesomely superior" sentiment when it's directly followed by "but I don't want to pay more than what the 'inferior' versions cost."

A few years ago, These Hasbro USA retail toys cost $10 to $12 not $30 to $50.

Don't see any harm in waiting for a clearance sale. speculating clearance sales will increase with imports sites having bigger ordering contracts.

Actually, if anything, I think the online toy shops are getting sick of getting burned all the time with excess stock of 3rd party figures that never sell and having to take a loss. I bet that when BBTS and the other online shops saw '3rd party "Classics" style "Go-Bots"' their first concern was making sure they didn't order too many because they're definitely a niche item and the main attraction with 3rd party figures is, as always, Transformers Generation 1.

If 3rd parties created a Gobots Crasher that looked like this I'd buy Two of them.

Hmm... Forgot this was a thing. And not the Mirage is coming out before Crasher? Thought they usually like to release the Gobot versions first.

In for Crasher, pending good reviews. Their Mirage doesn't hold a candle to the Classics one, IMHO. That was one of the best TFs of the decade.

Im a lot less excited about this Crasher knowing it will have a "Mirage" alt mode instead of the more boxy toy accurate car that Crasher was. For that I might as well keep Fracture and forget this mold all together.

I don't like this mold for Crasher, I'll be keeping Fracture for that.

I do like it for Mirage though!

That's a damned nice piece of art. I love it!
