These over Maketoys? have we seen more of FansToys? they're making one too right? some side by sides would be great.

These guys are almost half the price of the MakeToys version, I'm sure MakeToys quality would be better but these simply look better and happen to be cheaper than their competitors.

They all have the essential Reflector cues, but the same? I don't think so

proportionally I feel KFC nail it, they also have the head sculpt spot on.

FansToys are OK, but look a little lanky to me, the feet also look a little long, and the face sculpts are a bit on the derpy side.

MakeToys look better that FansToys but I don't like the heads, the look a little stubby, their too expensive and the bare grey plastic gives them a Hasbro Classics vibe.

Of course that's all subjective I'm sure there are plenty that have problems with the KFC version, the only issue I can see with KFC is the overall quality, bit time will tell.

Can't see the head sculpt too well in these pics but they all pretty much look the same to me. with two of these being due out this month I'm shocked we haven't seen any test shot "reviews" yet. I can't really judge proportions from that picture either as they're all taken at differnet angles besides the KFC one that is stright on. as for plastic... we should wait until we see it in plastic form first yes? lol but from that pic though I would agree KFC's looks most accurate. I do have the Maketoys one down on preorder so just want to make sure I'm making the right decision here. lol

I'm with you man, it's a bloody minefield choosing between different 3rd Party's. I don't think you can go wrong from a quality point of view with MakeToys, consistently well made and well designed transformations. I took a bit of a risk with KFC, however they seemed to have upped their game a little recently with Stack and Transistor so fingers crossed. Based on the dates you posted we should be getting out respective Reflectors around the same time, it will be interesting to compare notes when they arrive.

yea... but I might not stick with Maketoys... gotta see those test shots to get a better idea of it all.

KFC might get the first review as TFS Express (UK site) are an exclusive KFC retailer and they also have strong links with BensCollectables, he seems to get test shots a lot sooner than others.

I think I like MT's best, but their aesthetic is a bit too simple and cartoonish in the Impossible Toys sense, where the curved surfaces make them seem more techno-organic than robotic.

FT has the opposite problem - too much overwrought detail. Another example of a company trying too hard to be MP.

KFC's is a happy balance... not 'just right' or anything like that. The upper legs are a bit thin for example, and the quality probably won't be near the other two sets.

I guess we'll see what reviews bring...

Yeah the quality will either make or break the KFC set.

Getting into MP 3rd parties? Do it!! well actually don't. lol

I think for me I just want to finish off season one Decepticons (no Third party Megatron). So one of these guys and a Shockwave and whichever insecticons that looks the best but I'll worry about them later.

Still staying away from 3rd Party MPs, but it's good to know what happening with this character... With 3 sets released near-simultaneously, I think we can expect 1 or 2 to clearance out!

Probably KFC... Maybe Maketoys but I've yet to see a Fans Toy product clearance.

For real!! Aren't they supposed to come with a smaller version of the combined form like MakeToys too?

These are still the best of the bunch for me, they should change its name from Reflectron to Perfectron ;).
