No further details on the availability of these figures at this moment.

Wait... Their tails do not integrate into the robot, they separate?? ugh, not feeling this.

Immediately after seeing that vid I had to look up the Voltron combination sequence.

I'm not sure why...

These still have a lot of potential if painted right. I have no interest in ever combining them but individually these look pretty sweet. Thinking they will cost way too much though. :-?

Those prototype pictures are actually pretty old. And now I realize that the arms on the "newer" proto pic are just turned to the side, making them appear way too thin.

Nice CG animation.

I dunno, maybe I need to see some better photos of them to make me "feel it"..

Some of the tails are already there as arm shields/gauntlets... As per that photo, you can clearly see that two of the tails don't go anywhere, yet. ;)

Does anyone know if these are still planned or have they been scrapped?

Seibertron user and all round nice guy Paul Grant/Sir Toys has confirmed this project is still happening and he will be taking pre-orders shortly for not only Dino-combiner but also the *ahem* not-Protectobots/Star Cats project too!

Reporting via the TFW2005 boards, Paul says he should have these in the coming months and pre-orders will be up on his SirToys.com website soon!

I might be interested in buying these. As the sculpts look nice in all modes. I love the idea of Five G-1 Dinobots forming a gestalt.

This needs a gestalt head. that current head on the gestalt looks a bit oversized & not gestalt looking enough. Also needs a gestalt chest wing. Needs a huge sword & huge double barreled gestalt gun.

TFC needs to step up to the plate & colors these toys in 1985 Dinobots toys colors. Having the current colors in those pics just don't fly well with me. Or TFC needs to release these toys in two colors,1985 dinobots colors & the colors they like for some reasons in those pics above.

Desire the team members to be deluxes. Maybe with Grimlock being Voyager scale. So the prices to complete the Gestalt will be cheaper.

Need some USA import sites to carry this. As I don't want to get this shipped from overseas. The shipping prices are too high. The time it takes to receive overseas packages are too long. I am not paying any extra clearance tax fees. Fear the package might get chrushed from the long trip from overseas to the states.

You know, I know these are "not Dinobots", but .... that's really NOT the Dinobots!

I guess I'm glad to see thy haven't abandoned their old prototype, but even so. Not for me.

It wasn't that I stopped remembering these figures, it's that I stopped caring in these.

With Planet X making the Dinobots, I'll be passing on these, even if it takes another 3 years to get a team of 5.

lol, kinda the same difference. Or indifference as the case may be. ;) And yeah, Caelus is made of win and I'll take their Dinobots as my neo-G1 Dinobots, thank you. :D 8)

I dont like any 3rd party option for the Dinobots currently out there. Theyre either too big, too small, or too weird. One day somebody will get them right.

I might actually get these, but it would be really nice if the gray plastic gets a dark metallic/gunmetal gray makeover WfC/FoC style because I think the dinos would look better that way and it would bring out those colored highlights they have more.

That combined mode looks pretty beast too. We'll see though, as I've become pretty damn picky these days and actually cancelled most of my third party preorders.

I agree Mkall.

I want to like this set, I really do. But, but...they look so bad.

Price will play a factor in my decision.

I'm just wondering why if these are TFC designs. Why are these not also being sold on other USA based import sites. Did other sites not want these? Is sirtoys the only ones who wanted to sell these?

I am not bothered by the designs. I think they look better & more 1980's G-1 than those ugly FOC Dinobots designs do.

How much longer are they planning on sitting on these two teams?

I usually like generic characters, but I just cant seem to like these. Theyre clearly NOT dinobots. The only thing I like about that t-rex is that he drags his tail like a big dumb dino should. Im not into all that "its gotta be scientifically correct" crap, keep it 80's G1 style. But I just think these are too weird. Theyre too much like the dinobots to be generic characters, but not dinobot enough to be the dinobots. Personally, I would rather see a 3rd party find a way to make the AOE dinobot toys combine. It almost happened with the botcon stunticons. This just doesnt cut it.

I guess you don't get it. They are released, that's what these latest pictures and videos are, they are getting them in hand.

TFC is not manufacturing them directly, they gave them to another toy company who makes low cost kids toys (including Chinese KO Transformers), to produce. Not TFC quality, but on the bright side, they cost about $75 plus shipping for all five!
