Hegemon is in design and mold a work of art that should make Hastak cry, but the actual quality of the gray plastic he's made of is questionable - the swirly, waxy appearance looks cheap frankly like old Revell Model kits and I've painted mine a gunmetal gray to get over this and do away with some of the annoying translucent red too. He now looks as awesome as most everyone else says he is......to me.

Rollbar - Grind Rod is even more questionable than Erector as a stupid name to give a Robot and I'm not using it - is maybe my favourite third party Bot ever, considering how much I love Fansproject and Maketoys stuff that's saying a lot and if it wasn't for MP12 would be my fave transforming Robot of the year by far.

Cant wait for 02.

And Daim...thanks for the pic with the Hound head. That's convinced me to get another to do exactly that.

Well, I can honestly say he received a bad one, but that's not the norm. The burn marks are from the mold, that's a QC problem and the production line should've never let it see the light of day. As for the alignment issues, those can be corrected by hand with no tools. (I do it all the time.) The cracks, I've heard of but mine don't have it. Stresses, yes, but cracks, no. His is a fluke, really. The mold does have some issues, mostly with plastic, but not all of them are horribly flawed. There are some specimens that are fine. If mine had the problems his does, I'd have complained too, so I understand where he's coming from, I just know it's the exception, not the rule for Hegemon.

Note that you'd have to do some minor mod when you use the hound head. Either mod the neck peg, or the ball connection on the Hound head. That's because GR's peg is not a ball peg.

I didn't buy Grindrod in the initial release. Well, good news for anybody else who didn't bite the first time around, BBTS has him and Aurora in stock right now. (I'll get mine on Friday. Woot!)
