so we don't know which one the not Not-Breakdown one is? ach heck. whichever looks good.

if these are FP Insecticon prices, I'll buy, even though a Warbot size and price for Motormaster doesn't put it much cheaper than Giant. Because these guys look awesome. Shame the Aerialbots are so expensive, and a bit bigger. Would be really cool to have these 2 groups face off.

Gotta wonder how close those digibashes will be to the real color schemes.

The only major concern I had was the color of Breakdown(?)... I'm glad they're going for the cream as opposed to white as others had mentioned they wanted. White would just be way too much contrast on the combined figure.

I see TFP Wheeljack every time I look at their car modes. Still, they look pretty badass (as does TFP Wheeljack for that matter), so I'm in.

God that mold looks beautiful as Deadend or Wildrider. These will look amazing, I can't wait for real pictures. It's good to see :CON: symbols on them even though Fansproject isn't stupid enough to use them like some other 3rd Parties.

I've got tons of lovely Takara Decepticon symbols leftover from all of my Arms Micron TFP figures, it looks like they'll have homes now ;).

My bet is that that is Wildrider. Dead End has a face plate. But if it is Wildrider, they should have put the two antenna that stick out of the sides of his head. Either way, you gotta feel sorry for those who wasted $500 on a Henkei Wildrider. LOL I see it dropping down to $200 or less on e-bay.

It was stated before that the heads wouldn't be show accurate, but toy accurate.

That aside... the colors make me gush and I can only hope they turn out this good if not better when they are finally available.

Sounds like a job for Renderform. Maybe he can do a set. Im up for some better heads. The whole idea of the "square head" was to interlock them into the torso to become combiner limbs. Not to become a staple for all future figures. I think thats why the G1 cartoon didnt roll with those square heads in the first place. The Combaticons were the most similar to the toys, but even they were changed up enough not to look stupid.

Most transformers in the show had square-ish heads remember. Also, in terms of what might 'look stupid' I have to say the handlebar heads on Wildrider and Dragstrip were pretty ridiculous to say the least, but if that's your preference...

I'll be happy either way, though I do kinda hope Dead End will have a faceplate/visor. Of all the Stunticons in the show his was the only one I felt was an improvement over the toy versions.

this^
its the main reason i stay away from any figure that is an update of a combiner team member. hence no silverbolt, wildrider,or the upcoming breakdown although official it doesnt help much if they dont combine IMO

These are the exact reason why I'm holding off on TFC's Uranus and considering selling Hercules to help fund Green Giant.

Yeah, TFC would have a lot better luck I think if they kept things to the scale & price of what MT & FP are doing... not to mention not going after the same combiners at the same time, or doing ones that have already been done, like Sup... it really just forces people to draw lines. All 3 of these companies could co-exist in harmony if they weren't wasting their efforts trying to out-do each other.

I quite agree. The Walmart Exclusive Energon Repaint Constructicons didn't do it for me, so Herc fit the "Classics" bill nicely (though if my wife ever caught me spending the money on all 6 figs at once....ouch!) FP's Superion and Bruticus are the gold standard right now. I'm looking for combiners that haven't had classics treatment yet, though TFC's Superion is looking sexy, so far. (It will still bug me if they stay true to all the planes except for the Concord...) I'll hold my money for the Stunticons and Computron.

Then there's Hexatron.

Yeah, just not enough money to go around....

Monstructor aside, Menasor was always the smallest combiner so if these guys are deluxe/small deluxe size then I reckon they will look quite good scale wise next to Herc.

They look awesome.

So Breakdown and Wildrider are using the same mold?

Stormrider wrote:So Breakdown and Wildrider are using the same mold?

I doubt it. I think the digibashes on the first page are just showing both characters because we don't know which the one which isn't clearly Breakdown or Dragstrip is. I think Deadend and Wildrider will probably be different molds. The one on the right is clearly Breakdown-y, and I'd imagine Dragstrip will be fairly obvious, but the other two, in black and white, or grey, as the case may be, could be fairly difficult to distinguish. We'll see.

I would not say no to a G2 Menasor. He can fist-bump Yellow MakeToys Devastator
