Yeah, when the zombie apocalypse goes down, I'll be going out with Warbot Assaulter in one hand and the original Masterpiece Prime in the other.

Some serious zombie-klocking-in-the-head-chunky-metal-weight here. :-?

WHACK!

But yeah, I'd actually love to see someone collect all the modes and fan modes in a nice display. There's what...

Robot 1, Robot 2, Plane, Space Carrier, Sea Carrier, Gerwalk, Base, Elephant

That's eight modes... all at least as good as the old G1 six-changers.... or that ten-changing RID Megatron thing with the hand mode. Bravo.

Personally, I find his plane mode to be his best mode overall.

Very Macross.

Agreed! I do understand about the issues getting him INTO that mode. Getting that corner under the flap took some real effort. Given the price of the figure, I was a bit stressed.

Rhino, not an Elephant... ;)

That's funny... mine totally transformed into an elephant! ;)

lulz, considering how silly some of Sixshot's modes are these fanmodes could certainly pass for official ones.

Agreed that the plane is the best. It's what sold me on the figure in the first place. Totally badass!

I'm also liking the reverse-wing take on it. Simple, yet effective. 8)

Reverse wing? Got pics?

Not at the moment... found it on TFW2005, you just rotate the wings in plane mode so they're pointing forward a la Headmaster Apeface/Animated Starscream, etc. Like I said, really simple, but looks awesome. :D

Go to the very end of the video Daimchoc posted above this post; the reviewer shows off the reverse wing mod and displays it next to FOC Starscream.

Thanks for the link! Looks good with the wings turned around, too. Wow. That's a lot of modes.

I like Octane. ;)

No worse than overrated Broadside/Assulter who has only one legitimately good mode being the main bot mode. The alt modes are both as half-assed as Octane's.

Yes, but not by FansProject. I DON'T want a mediocre 'Cybertronian' triple changer for Blitzwing.

Yeah, I DO want a Blitzwing badly... top of my triple changer list. But agreed. I do want it more realistic in tank mode than the usual FansProject vehicles.

Mind you, the jet mode of Assaulter is primo. No complaints with that or the robots. The aircraft mode is the weakest of the three, I think — either with the front merged or in two bits.

Space Cruiser mode... Not aircraft carrier...

Yeah, I called it that because of the aircraft carrier fan-mode. You know what I mean ;)

I picked this guy up from the post office depot this morning. wow. he is so heavy and substantial and is of the usual fansproject quality. i have an issue with the shoulders, which do not tab together in plane mode properly. anyone else have this problem?

You have to roll them while tabbing...

I had a little extra flash to trim in the slot holes on the shoulders. It's much better for mine now and still holds great.

I ended up doing the same and now he holds together perfectly.I only trimmed excess flash that should not have been there. Great figure!

Just picked up mine just a week ago. All said and done......one word "FansProject"! 'nuff said!

Anyway, just fiddling around with the mini vehicles that came with him, I noticed that the following figs look surprisingly like:

1. Defender (not Springer) with his copter and armored vehicle mode
2. Heart master (plus a trailer
3. A dune buggy of sorts (reminds me of Ranger from Masterforce and Sandstorm)
4. A Mospeada type looking motor bike.

So could this mean:

1. Heart master has an upcoming trailer? Btw, who is he supposed to homage anyway? His exhaust pipes remind me of WWI Optimus and Grimlock

2. The "Cyclone" bikes, could that be the upcoming/or is it shelved not Wreckgar?

3. Thedune buggy, was that supposed to be Sandstorm?
