I just Scoria. He is very cool. He is solid like everyone is saying. Lots of die-cast in his feet. The only things that I don't like and they seem rather minor:

Perhaps too much die-cast in his feet. When I tilt Scoria to one side, his legs flop from the weight.

I am having trouble pegging is unfurled backpack in alt mode. I must not have line something up right when I transformed his legs.

My figure came with two identical silver faces. Both with open mouths. No silver closed mouth. I bought the figure through BBTS and sent an email to them ask for a mouth swap.

Other than that, I really like the figure. He is great homage of Slag.

Got mine from BBTS, and I have no problems with the alternate head. So, maybe not as widespread as some may think but definitely needs a remedy.

BBTS is sending a replacement face. So all is good. Great figure. I would love Fan Toys to do the Monsterbots down the road.

My Scoria arrived yesterday and WOW, it's great. His dino head is fantastic, so shiny. I love the painted wiring/pipe details on his side on dino mode. I got the correct assortment of heads. Transformation is simple but neat.

There are a few negatives.

I can see some paint being worn off on some of the tighter fitting parts but it's not a toy to be played with, just admired. I nearly lost a finger trying to get the flaps that conceal his robot hands open then were so tight. Slightly loose legs but not floppy.

Just got mine in. Is there a good way to get the weapons to stay in his hands without completely getting his thumb out of the way? Especially the sword, I can get him to hold it, just barely, but it looks odd up close because his thumb is pointing straight down.

Think TW or FP would be better 3rd party companies to tackle the Monsterbots.

Oh, brilliant. So once again early purchasers suffer.

Does anyone know whats the cheapest price for this online?

A few overseas sites have it cheap but the $35+ shipping evens out to american import sites prices.

Whats the cheapest price for this on USA based import sites?

Suspose it would make sense to get this from a USA site that offers free shipping after a qualifying amount.

Does imageanime sell 3rd party TF toys? I'm going to check, guessing not.

You're a brave man, I'm not even trying for this. Unless I was trying to collect a whole set of Diaclone or G2 Masterpiece. I will say that some of these Dibot recolors are very eye-popping and maybe even tempting. But I will be satisfied with my original run of Dibots figures.

Yeah, I'm playing with fire ordering the G2 versions, but to be honest I want them all, and would have the Diaclone and X versions ordered as well if I thought there was any hope of me affording them.

Just received FT-04T and im a little disappointed.

Anyone else with this problem:

The hip has 2 sets of ratchet, they are all a bit too loose for my liking. If you move the leg front/up, it does not stay there and move back down as soon as you stop holding it.

For lateral leg movement there is a pin joint that is super thigh (like it). Problem is there is also a (loose) ratchet that move the whole hip there for transformation. If you move the leg lateral/up it goes back down alone with the hips. When you want to place it back you have to hold the hip so it stays in place while you rotate the leg.

The figure is still quite posable but it's my first Fans Toys product that has quality issues...

Also what's up with the box art? All other box I have from them are the same style and looks real nice on shelf. Why is this one completely different? The 2nd version of Soar (the blue one) still had their usual box art.

Have one slightly loose elbow joint (right arm) but everything else is tight. The rotating portion of the thighs are a little too tight for my liking. Get a nasty creaking noise as you try to rotate them.

Yeah, the one on a pin joint is perfect, but what about the 2 ratchet joints, are they tight as well? If you move whole leg up, front or sideway, does it stay there or does it fall back down?

Just purchased the 04X, so excited! Any chance anyone would trade the extra blue eyes for one of my extra red? Also, does anyone happen to have the red face that was available on Captured Prey?
