TF-1.com - Joustra Diaclone Caméra Robot (Reflector)

Hi all,

It's one of the greatest gems of the Joustra (or any) toyline, and even by Joustra standards the art is spectacular. Loads of history, pictures, interesting paperwork scans and even some attempts at fancy photography, this is the Joustra Diaclone Caméra Robot - pre-Reflector:

Paul Vromen / Eman Zubia artwork and colours imminent, will notify when they've added their interpretation of this insanely beautiful piece.

Huge thanks to Paul Hitchens, Jeroen Blok, Marco Salerno for their contributions :)
All the best

Just got Darkside Megs and Prime (Video Review)

So I just got these two figures maybe an hour or two ago. Let me just say that the paint aps on these guys make them both look absolutely fantastic. Darkside Prime looks amazing in black and the metallic red windows look positively epic. Joints are really tight though.

Megatron also looks pretty great. I had no intentions of keeping this figure because I didn't see a need for yet another WFC Megatron. However, the paint scheme screams Galvatron, and looks A LOT better in person as opposed to many of the pictures. Needless to say, he'll have a permanent spot in my collection.

I went ahead and reviewed Darkside Prime. The review can be seen here.

I'll review Darkside Megatron tomorrow because I have a research paper that needs to be completed.

Long story short, though: I ordered these figures from Robot Kingdom about a week ago and paid 80 dollars (plus a few bucks for shipping). I was hesitant to spend so much money for two deluxes, but went ahead and did it because 1) I'm a Nemesis Prime/Black Convoy fanboy, so money wasn't really a big factor. And 2) I planned on selling off Megatron for 30 or 40 bucks on Ebay to recoup some of my losses. However, I can honestly say the set is definitely worth the money! If you're on the fence about getting these two, I say go ahead and bite the bullet. They both look really awesome with the other WFC figures.

As much as I wanted the Prime for my display, the Megatron is gorgeous. It's the clear winner in the two pack for me. Also, "Shits and gigs". LOL!

Dang... I'm a sucker for Super Mode Prime's. Eventhough ROTF did nothing for me. I'm really liking this guy. And since you can remove the wings easily it works even better.

Thanks Peaugh.

I may have to buy this before it goes on clearance, don't want to risk missing it. Small chance of that, but still.

Nice review, Peaugh. Well, it doesn't look too bad. IF, and only if I can find it for cheap, I'll probably buy it, to put on my shelf with all my other Primes that don't fit anywhere else, because I'm a fan of super modes. I'm not willing to pay more than $60 though.

Same here. Theres some red flags for me for Ultimate Optimus Prime. I wish Hasbro spend more resources giving us figures WE want like a Leader class Megatron or something.
