Wow, that was a really great review :).

It looks like Shockwave isn't going to disappoint. He looks great in both modes and I'll happily be adding him to my collection :).

Hells yeah!

I don't mind him being a little smaller, after all he is the scheming scientist of the bunch.

According to the reviewer in the comments section, Shockwave's cannon CAN tab into his arm instead of him having to hold it like a gun.

This fact alone will sell many G1 fans on this toy.

I really love all the transformations of these guys. The size difference is just large enough to disappoint, however....

They really do seem to be taking a diffrent direction with the figures. They're not above adding molding to make figures look a little better in either mode, though it seems cheap to do that versus finding some way to actually make a part move to a certain place. I am enjoying the transformations so much though....Meh. I'll buy what my limited budget allows. :[

Man, the smaller sizes of these figures is a real turn off. Feels like were getting over sized legends figures at overpriced deluxes figures.

I like it, I definitely want a version of this mold.

Interesting way of phrasing that!

It mentions hand retraction as well. I wish to see pictures of this cos holding the gun looks quite bad.

It's probably the way the hands rotate inward for transformation.

I'm guessing Shockwave's head pop-up gimmick is part of he reason that his Japanese counterpart is getting released in the Prime Arms Micron toyline instead of the United toyline.

Still want him. And Jazz. :D

Doesn't cut it for me. The crappy legs and small size don't work for my classics shelf and the character who should be large and powerful. The colours are great and the mold is sweet, except for the legs. Shame. If atleast one of those issues didn't exist, I would get him. I love that alt. mode.
:-(

I agree. The design is awesome, but this constant downsizing is starting to have the same effect on me as when we started getting tiny non-transforming figures back in the day (I.E. "Action Masters"). Hasbro has completely lost the ability to judge which figures should be in what appropriate size class (this has been going on for a while-Cl Jetfire/Powerglide, CL Galvatron, etc). And now even the inappropriate size classes are shrinking.

As a result, so is my interest, I'm very sorry to say.

Yeah, I'll agree with you on all points. I'll probably pick him up if I stumble across him at retail but I won't go out of my way to get it.

I am so relieved that I'm not the only one that was thinking that.
