Dual Model Kit Chinese Release 2.0
Posted: Fri Nov 14, 2014 11:39 amI am totally and completely excited to get the DMK 2.0 Dual Model kit. I used to collect Transformers in various formats and such. But over the last 5 years, I pretty much have just widdled my collection down to 3 Masterpiece figures. I suppose I have since become a bigger fan of the Movies then I was initially. I used to hate the newer designs, and still think some of them are a bit off.. But for the most part, I am totally and completely in love with the Movie version of Optimus Prime.
Since seeing the Takara Tomy release of the Dual Model Kit 01, and DMK 02, and the recent release of the DMK 03, I have wondered what it would be like to own one..
But then, I have seen the Chinese remodeled version, which has made me want it much more then the Takara Tomy version. I like Hottoys figures, and with what they have done in China to the DMK Optimus is sheer genius! I am actively searching for someone who can help me purchase from China. I believe taobao.com has them for sale, but I am unsure of what the shipping fee would be, and even with translate on, it is difficult to navigate.
Anyone know of a good place I can purchase that figure from? It comes prepainted and preassembled with stronger joints, and to be quite honest, I wish Takara Tomy would fix their DMK-01 and do it the way the Chinese company 4ever has done.
I want this for Christmas!!! Please help!!
For me, Accuracy is what I enjoy, a posable and accurate representation of the Movie figure. I will buy a truck model to place next to the figure, with Optimus prime's paint scheme, and then display my Blu-rays of the movies next to it. I just hope this Chinese company can do the same with Bumblebee, and the AOE Optimus just released.. it too needs remolded parts to make it more screen accurate, and the skeletal structure tightened and strengthened for display and action poses. I just wonder if they will ever get around to Transformers 2 Megatron, or Galvatron! Since those versions are my favorite. Not too big on the Megatron Truck from Transformers 3, tho he did look pretty cool. I would love to see them do a prepainted, and preassembled Starscream as well someday..
If I can get my hands on that, how do I go about sending it to seibertron.com for their pictures gallery??
Anyhow any help in me being able to purchase this would be greatly appreciated!
