I think the colors are pretty decent.. But that is only my opinion.

Seen lots of those (well, a few) but still haven't seen any of the camoed Clone Snipers. :?

[Edit: Mwaha! I finally found the sniper, the Utapau Airborn Trooper, and the Marine. Only bought one each though. Times are lean.]

Sorry, I meant, do they match? I'm wondering if Neyo and his grunt could proxy for Bacarra's leautinants, or as scouts for the marines or something.

Well, the TAC finally hit my area. I found a motherlode of the figures. I got all nine from Wave 1, plus the Vader with coin book and a double of the Galactic Marine. They're all great figures, especially the Super Battle Droid and the Marine. I haven't opened my McQuarrie Stormtrooper yet, but now I'm thinking about buying two of each from that series. One to open, one to leave carded. Maybe that will turn out to be a good idea down the road, so that I can sell them as a set. Otherwise they're a pretty great looking sub-line of figures, and they'll look just as great carded & lined up as they will opened & on a shelf.

The only complaint I really have is the SA Mace Windu. His tunic is made of a harder plastic and there's no "walking slits" on it like SA Obi-Wan has. I'll just have to get another and slice some lines in the tunic.

I already have the Fan's Choice McQuarrie Trooper in package. Any of these I find are getting opened and joining my Clone troopers.

I'm having trouble getting the Treachery at Saleucami from my local Walmart

So far there the only store in my area that has them but....

I seen then them the other day on a pallet I asked this old man if he could open one so I can get it

He replied in a nasty manner if it doesn't go out its not getting opened. Then he looked at the case and said no its week 10

I was like WTF does week 10 mean

It meant theat there not putting it out until next week. This guy was a stickler for following procedure and it looks like I may have to wait until next week

Now I know why my toy dept has been slow for the last few months

I also seen the new alternaters on that same pallet and he never stocked them

Yeah, at some stores the workers will not even try to put stuff out if it says something like "Week 10" or "May Feat"(ure) on the shipping label. When I used to work in toys, my co-worker and I didn't always go by those labels if there was room for a feature. Or if the toys were the same as something normally on the shelf (like Alternators), we would just fill in the pegs or shelf space with the stuff marked as "feature" or "week-whatever."

The Target term is Transition with the date of the week it will go out

So you guys flexed the items out in the same price point?

Good for you you guys are needed more in stores

Yeah, we would do that stuff whenever we could. Unless something was street dated, for Blitz, or a "Special Buy" (a limited quantity item avertised in the circular), it was fair game to us ;) The idea is to sell stuff, after all...

I got my Bantha & Tusken Raiders set in the mail today. I had ordered some stuff from TRU.com when they had that buy 1 get 1 free sale. I managed to get their exclusive grey TIE Fighter ($44.99) and the Bantha (also $44.99) together... the Bantha was on preorder but it still qualified for the sale! I kind of wish I had gotten two of the TIEs and two Banthas, but I didn't have the money at the time. Hell, I didn't have the money to get what I did, but I couldn't pass by that kind of a deal!

Interesting read I wonder if Lucas would get a kick out of it

I Finally got the Treachery at Saleucami Battle Pack from a coworker who picked it up at a Walmart near him that actually has no problem with putting things out

BBTS has listings for two new Battlepacks. "Jedi vs Sith" and "Clone Attack on Coruscant"; No pictures though.

Funny thing is, I thought we already had two with those names - I thought the "Clone Attack on Coruscant" was the 4 Gray Clones and the Bacarra repaint.

And here's the article about the Celebration IV exclusive set.

:-x -> doesn't even begin to show how **** pissed off I am about this! I can understand some kind of gold plated Titanium vehicle, or a chromed figure, something like that. But not a whole new set of figures only available in such limited quantities! Yeah, sure, there were Star Tours droids. But those are Star Tours, with only a few resembling SW-universe droids (like the R5-D2, R4-M9, etc), and made in such quantities that they're still available for relatively sane prices some years later. Besides, someone you know is more likely to travel to Disney and pick up some of those figures for you, than for someone you know to attend C-IV.

Yeah I know, they're just toys... but God dammit to hell, I was really looking forward to getting these two characters in the McQuarrie sub-line this year... at retail, or for retail prices. :-x

I know how you feel, Botcon 2007 is pulling the same $#!7.

On the bright side, Hasbro often rereleases Star Wars figures in different packaging without repainting them like they do TFs. You may still be able to get MQ R2 and 3P0, just without the 30th anniversary package and coin.

I'm hoping it will like the Vader figure from Celebration 3 did

Bishop if I hear anything about it I will contact you even if its at Disney for some odd reason

I'm usually trying to find news for Jediinsider each day so I may stumble on it

There is a difference here

Starwarshop.com sometimes will sell the figure online after the celebration like they did with the Vader with voice chip

Botcon sells them in sets now for hundreds of dollars

Well my lovely and sexy wife picked me up 1 galactic marine and 1 airborne trooper the other night.

This past weekend I got four galactic marines, who are awfully painted and do not match Baccara at all. 2 more airborne troops, another mace windu, mustarfarian lava dude.

Last night I got four out of the six order 66 sets. I must say I was surprised with the paint jobs. THey were really well done imho. And best of all I got a fully articulated vader. Who actually moves !

Hot damn hasblow did something right!
