I haven't tallied up the cost yet, but I've spent well over $1000 in the past 3~4 days acquiring the majority of the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited toy lines. I love the DCAU and as I'd mentioned earlier in this very thread, I started with the trading cards in an obviously vain attempt to avoid getting into collecting the figures because I knew how many there were and how much of a cost/space issue collecting the toys would be, but I just could not help myself. The first few figures arrived today, more will come tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day...for probably the next few weeks at least (all bought on ebay). I even got the Watchtower playset, the Batwing, the Batman (New Adventures) Batmobile (also seen on JL/JLU) and both versions of the Javelin (I think the actual toys are the same, just packaged with different figures but I'm obsessive like that so I had to have both, besides, 2 Javelins are better than 1 right, RIGHT!? :P)

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! After waiting for so long for the perfect Frozen Elsa figure, it finally arrived!

Disney Store Exclusive 16" tall signing Elsa!

Image

She's a work of art! No non-baby Frozen dolls ever in store. When there were, it was only Hanna. Then, I had to settle on the Disney Infinity figure. 13$ and I don't even have the game. Then, finally, a Elsa doll (standard)! She's a bit off, but I grabbed her anyway, even at full 20$. Go figure, she was sold out the day after. Still, I wanted a "MP" Elsa. After browsing some Youtube review, I got aware of the existence of that 16" doll. The cheapest I could find as a buy it now (screw waiting) was for 80$CAN shipped, brand new. Sure, it's a bit expensive, but I'm used to pay much more for TFs so let's not have double-standards.

In hand, Elsa is truly magnificent. Her only faults is when you manipulate her, she sing her heat out reapetadly. Yeah, she have an off switch, but who I am to shut up the Snow Queen? The song cut short unfortunately. Finally, the arm articulations are limited. As for the pros, man, there's so many. The head sculpt is perfect. Cartoon accurate to a T, with a perfect coifure. Her dress is magnificent, with the slit right there, showing off her right leg. She have nice green panties molded and painted, but heh, that's more than the movie showed us! Her legs also have hips and knee articulations.

I'm very, very glad of her! Also, she sing when I wave at her breasts!
If you are a Frosen's Elsa fan, seek that dool out. She's very, VERY worth it.

Wow, she looks incredible. Don't worry I bought one of the infinity figures too and I don't have the game either.

My latest acquisitions are D arts Mewtwo (absolutely fantastic) and Terry Bogard.
I picked up from a local con S.H.Figuarts Android 18 and Sailor Moon. I am really digging these figures a lot.

Bandai Sprukits Master Chief. It's like building a Gundam model... only of Master Chief.

Oh yeah, Elsa is my queen!

I'd also want the whole Figurart Sailor Moon crew. However, money and space are limited. Still, I'm a SM fanboy so I really want that stuff. Ball gags, leather straps, wip.. WOAH, wrong kind of SM. I mean, Sailor Moon herself, Jupiter, and the rest of them legs festival! :x
Is waiting for the whole main 6 to come out a good idea (to save on shipping), or will the early figures be unboughtable by then?

I wanted a Equestria Girls Raity for a while, but always found what was offered a bit drab. Then I saw the Rainbow Rock version. Truly a magnificent doll! Plus, it come with a punkified pony! What's not to love? The price, that's what. I didnt want to pay the full 30$ for it. So far, I only saw her at Walmart. Never at Target, never at TrU, where EG dolls were often on sale. Then, Walmart didnt have it anymore. Sad.jpg.

Then today, at the Walmart toy clearance section, lo and behold, there she is at only 15$! So, of course, MINE!!!

Image

The funny thing is, I was accompanied by me sis and my 13yo neice. The little one asked me "Oooooh, izzat 4 me?" I responded "MINE!" (She know I'm collecting, but she love MLP stuff too.) I told her that if you want one, now is the time because it's just 15$ instead of 30$. So, use your own pocket money little one! She did good with chores lately and she earned herself a 20$ lately that she kept for Monster High dolls. However, Rarity was there, tempting her... So. with mom agreeing, she bought her own EG Rainbow Rock Rarity with her own money. Figuratively speaking, of course. My sis used a loophole in her own system of rules to make my niece keep her money and give her the doll as a reward for her chores instead. My neice still will "pay" for her doll, but she'll get her money back the day after for one reason or another. This way, she will learn the value of money. My neice is a slow learner because of her severe epilepsy so she learn the basic things in life way slower than the average person, but she's getting there. Slowly, but surely.
