I think Sabrblade was saying that Prime and WFC have nothing to do with the movie.
Yes, exactly. The movies have no ties to Prime and WFC. Prime and WFC are together, but the movies are separated from them. That's what I meant.

Stormwolf wrote:The dark energon question itself should point out that they are two different continuities. Dark energon was well known in WFC and Megatron already infused himself with it before attacking Cybertron.

In Prime they didn't even know if it was possible to infuse a TF with it (which takes place after the shutdown).
Yes, these are continuity errors, but WFC and Prime are still tied to each other. And who knows, there may be steps taken later on to see if the two could be better fitted together. Besides, what series doesn't have continuity quibbles?

Stormwolf wrote:Additionally, Prime Soundwave, Bumblebee and Starscream are vastly different characters when compared to their WFC counterparts.
Actually, these guys are similar personality-wise to their Exodus selves, which is also tied in with this series.

That is what i meant to say that Prime & WFC are connected WFC is the beginning and Prime is the future.

Question is now what will WFC 2 be about sense they had to leave Cybertron cause of the Dark Energon take over.

Could WFC 2 be a connector to Prime and show them on Earth or lead them to Earth and it will be in Space and diffrent planets & locations around the universe.

No, I haven't been under a rock, Rodimus2006! I SAW Star Trek when it came out, it just didn't matter to me THEN who the hell wrote it! Some of us commented on TF Prime's score and how similar it is to Star Trek's. I thought I'd look into it. I did some research and felt like I wanted to share. That's all.

Now, on to something that made me happy: I kinda like Prime's big black bushy eyebrows! tee hee hee...

YES! I never opposed that! All I was trying to say is that the movies are not a part of Prime and WFC. You mentioned Movie 1, so that's what I was responding to. You are RIGHT about WFC and Prime. It was the MOVIES that I was referring to.

Good question.

More good questions. As of know, no one knows, unfortunately.

I loved Star Trek I really dont care about Orci and the other dude but they done a really awesome job on Trek and rebooting the franchise.

I cant wait for the sequel which I say will not happen until 2013 or 2014 at least and will feature a 1960's classic villian such as Mudd or others in the old school show.

I love Prime I dont care about what it is conected to or when it the time line Prime fits into. I just want prime to continue in the way that it is develop more and continure on this dark action adventure path that was in this mini-series.

I really dont care about the way the bots look or their mouths as they have already grew on me and I actually like them alot and Soundwave is bad-ass best version of Soundwave ever that was so cool Miko took his pic and he said hahah right back at you.

I have a feelin in later episodes Starscream will try to capture the kids and use them against the bots thanks to Soundwave's intel.

Boy that was one cool lookin Lazer Beak loved the way it split the Chopper tail off that was awesome.

I wouldn't start referring to that Deployer as Laserbeak (or any name) just yet. It looked more drone-like than sentient. For now, it's just a Deployer.

Though, notice how it "detached" from Soundwave's chest instead of "launching" from within it? That process was very similar to that of the Breastforce from the TF: Victory anime.

It still was wicked cool The Deployer or whatever that thing was I cant wait to see more cool powers and goodies from the Transformers as the show goes on who knows what Prime has in store for us.

I wonder if things from other past incarnations will make into prime such as Beast Bots, mini-cons, power-links and combiners or triple changers.

I am lookin forward to the future of Prime with the Hint of Unicron well Unicron's Blood sense the big guy may not be in TF 3 maybe he will show up in Prime instead.

But Unicron's Blood dosent necessarily mean that Unicron will eventually show up I say some are tired of Unicron cause the Unicron Trilogy seeing him 2 times in one series and refrecned in another is too much for some.

But if he was re-imagined redone and made into something newer and cooler it could work for Prime.

I guess we will have to keep a look out for Prime and see what the future holds for us.

Transformers 3
Transformers WFC 2
Transformers MMORPG
Transformers Prime

Now is an awesome time to be a transfan rather you are original G1 fan such as myself or a newbie we have alot to look forward to now.

Just went back and rewatched all five parts. Got a few more comments.

Optimus talks about how, late in the war, both factions began relocating their deposits of energon to other planets after Cybertron became uninhabitable. This, as Optimus explained, was the reason that the war shifted to other planets like Earth. He also said that, because of this, it was on Earth that the greatest battle in the history of the war took place on Earth, and was fought by their ancestors. This whole event is one big plot hole in and of itself, whether one takes WFC/Exodus into account or not.

Thisi s because Optimus says that the battle took place on Earth because of it was one of the planets that energon was relocated to late in the war. And Optimsu had been fighting in the war since near its beginning. YET, he said that the great battle on Earth was fought by his and the others' ancestors. How could ones' ancestry take part in an event that existed at a point after that person know to exist in?

I am wondering if WFC 2 could be about the Huge Battle that took place on Earth that Optimus was talking about this could be a cool possibility for the story plot for the upcoming WFC 2.

Considering the events of WFC 1 and the involvment of Dark Energon this could be exactly what to expect in WFC 2 but it is still too far away to speculate on anything regarding WFC 2 like I said this is just my theory and I have been right on a lot of my theories as of late.

Prime will return in Late Feb 2011 with Episode 6 though all 26 episodes will not air altogether they will show some episodes then air the rest for later.

Then Season 2 will begin this fall/winter 2011.

Also look for a new CGI Green Latern Anime series and other series also such as the upcoming CGI Thundercats I just hope it will be cool as the original one I have faith that it will be I also hope that all the original people will be in Thundercats but I am also opened up about new ones also.

What else is in store for 2011. I just goofed on the Lazerbeak deal I just called it that at the time cause I had no official name for it nor has it been given one either.

But Deployer seems cool I cant wait to see what Soundwave does in the future such as what will he do with the pic he took of the kids could this be Episode 6 and He & Starscream use them in some way.

Doubtful. It's very unlikely that a game titled "War for Cybertron" would be set on Earth.

I know that the game is titled "War for Cybertron" but if you look at the events after the ending for it how could it remain on Cybertron.

They were force to leave Cybertron cause of the Dark Energon takeover.

This is the reason I gave you that theory on that they could be other locals in WFC 2 such as Earth but I dont think it will be.

My other theory is that WFC 2 will be across various locals and planets throughout the Universe then they stumble across Earth towards the ending of WFC 2 which could lead up to a possible 3rd WFC game.

But we dont know anything about WFC 2 that was just my theory I gave you on it KEY WORD = THEORY. Such as I gave you all months ago saying that Megatron was the Mack Truck we saw with the 2 SUV Dreads.

I look forward to the future of Transformers seeing how Prime will grow and change over the course of 2011 will we see new characters in Prime will Megatron return at some point what will happen in Episode 6 I look forward to it.

Plus we have DOTM and the upcoming WFC 2 plus we dont know what other announcements they have for us concerning other aspects of Transformers.

Remember awhile back Hasbro stated that more Transformers series would be on DVD such as the Ultimate sets we got of the Unicron Saga. But which one of the Transformers will get the treatment could it be the long awaited RID or could Armada or Beast Wars get the next Box set.

They could do something to where it takes place on Cybertron druing a time when the planet was in a better condition.

Rodimus2006 wrote:My other theory is that WFC 2 will be across various locals and planets throughout the Universe then they stumble across Earth towards the ending of WFC 2 which could lead up to a possible 3rd WFC game.
Which defeats the whole "for Cybertron" aspect fo the title.

And theories are not always correct, hence why they are not considered facts. I know that we don't know what this game holds for us, so we can't say for certain what's going to happen in it.

When did they say that?

I doubt Armada or East Wars would get rereleased, considering how they've already had their own DVD releases (which also contained more bonus content then either the Cybertron or Energon sets ever did).

As for RiD, I think that's still in limbo after Disney bought all of Saban Entertainment's confinements, RiD (and Power rangers and Digimon) included. HOWEVER, with Saban coming back as Saban Captial Group, they've recently reacquired Power Rangers, but no word on RiD yet. So, I guess it's still up in the air as to who owns the rights to that series.

Though, it has had several DVD releases over in the UK, and those do work on American computers and certain U.S. DVD players. So, importing those is also an option.

Look at it this way, a "War for Cybertron" doesn't necessarily need to be fought on Cybertron. It could be fought on another battlefield over something that would help restore Cybertron.

Hasbro had a Q & A session awhile back sometime ago and a Fan asked if they would be any more transformers series going on DVD but they were asking about those that have never been released stateside such as Victory, Super God Master Force, The Headmasters, or the rest of Beast Wars I forget what it was called Neo or Beast Wars 2 as Generation 2 was mostly toys or comics.

For Cybertron means they are fighting to restore Cybertron this dosent necessarily mean that the whole story acr will remain on Cybertron itself. It just means that Cybertron itself is a key plot item of that game's universe.

Like in Prime reason it is called Prime is to show us more about being a Prime and what a Prime means.

Usually in a series the sub-title always gives us clues as to what that series will be about such as Animated with its unique Animated design, then DOTM thus the Autobot Ark being found on the dark of the moon and also Shockwave hunting for something on the moon which is more than likely the Key to Vector Sigma.

Energon was about Energon, Cybertron was about Cybertron and the Black Hole, Armada was Armada cause of the fights through space and the battle against Unicron.

Look I am really excited for the future of Transformers who cares lets all set back and see what the future will bring to us.

Lets all continue to watch Prime and see how it will continue to mature over the following year.

Lets all set back and learn more on DOTM and hope it will be better than ROTF was and close out the trilogy with a nice send off.

The Future looks awesome for Transformers I cant wait to learn & Watch more from it.

Ah, yes, I remember that now. In fact, I remember it so well because I am the one who asked that question. When I asked it, I did not inquire if there would be any other DVD releases like those of Energon and Cybertron, but if there would simply be any U.S. DVD releases of The Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory (like those European and Austrailian ones they got) and/or Beast Wars II and/or Beast Wars Neo. Here's the original question and answer:
The Dec 2008 Unicron.com Hasbro Q&A wrote:Since the Japanese-exclusive G1 cartoon series (The Headmasters, Chojin Masterforce, Victory, and Zone) were released on DVD in Europe and Australia, is there any hope of seeing them, and perhaps Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo, released on DVD in North America? Particularly the United States. From what we can tell, there is quite a demand!

Hasbro has the rights to the majority of the past Transformers entertainment now, and we are currently formalizing a distribution plan globally. This doesn't mean that you will see everything at the same time - we are deciding when and where for the portfolio of entertainment.
And that's a pretty vague answer, seeing as how nothing has come out of it in the past two years.

Rodimus2006 wrote:For Cybertron means they are fighting to restore Cybertron this dosent necessarily mean that the whole story acr will remain on Cybertron itself. It just means that Cybertron itself is a key plot item of that game's universe.
Yes, Burn already explained that earlier.

Episode 6 has aired.

I really like how the Eradicons are speaking and acting like their own individiuals instead of just mindless drones.

I LOVE Starscream's use of the "Emperor of Destruction" title. first we get "Supreme Commander " in Animated, and now this. It is so great to be sharing the Japanese titles of leadership in the American fiction.

WOOOOOOO!!!!! OPENING SEQUENCE IS GORGEOUS!!!!! A little saddened that there's no vocalized song (a condensed version of Stan Bush's "Till All Are One" would have been perfect), but otherwise, this is a MAJOR step up from the the first five episodes' lack of a proper opening. (Though, why is it that none of the CGI TF series get actual songs for their openings?)

LOL at Soundwave's spinning locator dish.

So, when energon stockpiles were hidden on Earth (as well as other planets) in the distant past, several powerful Decepticon warriors were placed on the planet to guard them. Skyquake was one of them.

Seems that energon cubes have gotten smaller and more "bright bluer" since we saw them in WFC.

I so love how, when Skyquake first said he'd follow only Megatron, Starscream didn't scream "I AM YOUR MASTER NOW! YOU WILL OBEY ME!" in the over-the-top manner of the Starscreams of the past. He instead anticipated that Skyquake wouldn't automatically obey him. That's good planning ahead for this Screamer.

The Battle of Technar, eh? Interesting.

Skyquake reminds me of G1 Thunderwing. All determined and obsessed to carry out his mission, regardless of anything.

Wait, if Skyquake doesn't have a vehicle mode of any kind, then what's with all that jet kibble all over him?

Hey it's Soundwave's Deployer/Not-quite-Laserbeak again! 8-)

And once again, Agent fowler proves how awesome he is by engaging Skyquake in aerial combat. 8-)

Skyquake may be down, but I'm not yet convinced he's out.

LOL at the kids' science project mishaps.

And now, Megs must make his recovery.

All in all, I enjoyed this one.

Because he's awesome. It seems to be his theme.

Didn't realize this thread was here. I'll just copy and paste the stuff from my thread--with extra notes and formatting--and let the mods do what they want with the thread proper.

Spoilers abound: Ye be warned!

-Skyquake was...kind of bland, actually. He was extremely loyal to Megatron, but he lacked that psychotic zealot quality Lugnut had in Animated.

-"You're a motorcycle, Arcee. Shouldn't you know how to build a motorcycle engine?" "You're a human, Jack. Could you build me a small intestine?" I really, really like Arcee in this series. I mean, like like, you know?

-So...what's up with Megatron? I didn't expect to see him back so soon, but I'm not certain he's even alive. There was a chunk of Dark Energon where his spark should be, and he showed characteristics of being a DE Zombie, but he wasn't glowing blue like them. And he's apparently alive, sans-Spark.

-Hey, Soundwave has Laserbeak. And he doesn't trust Starscream in the slightest. Also Laserbeak has no color, seems to be a theme among the Decepticon higher-ups.

-Ratchet hijacking everyone's science projects cements him as the totally awesome comic relief of the series. That's one hell of a model volcano...

-I couldn't be the only one expecting Prime to give Bumblebee the "Stop trying to be good at this, you're too young, blarg blarg" speech we hear all the time...but Bumblebee actually did really good, and though Prime noted that. TF Prime really loves smashing your expectations over the head with a brick and then disemboweling them.

-Speaking of, a bit more cyber-gore in the case of Bumblebee pulling bits out of Skyquake, though he was a jet at the time so the "gore" half is kind of lost. I couldn't help but think of that scene in Iron Man, where Tony pulls out bits of the Iron Monger saying "This looks important!"

-What was Agent Fowler doing in a fighter jet? I'm trying to avoid the answer "because he's awesome" but that's the only one I can think of.

-I like that the Eradicons can actually talk. Here's hoping they don't end up too silly like Battle Droids in Star Wars, but at least maintain a comical stupidity one would expect from cannon fodder.

-Is it just me or is Starscream afraid of Soundwave? He could just pull rank, but he keeps lying and going out of his way for Soundwave not to know his true, extremely obvious intentions. "Yes, I'm trying to get rid of Megatron's probably-still-alive body. I'm also the Leader of the Decepticons. You don't like it? Kiss my tailpipe. Oh wait, I'm a jet, I don't have a tail pipe. And you don't have a mouth. So GET BACK TO WORK."

HAHAHA!! But Fowler did remember to wear his seatbelt.

Also, I like how Soundwave put a tail on Starscream when he visited Megs. I'm happy with this creepy version of Soundwave. Perfect update to present day with an alt mode of a predator/surveillance drone. Sweet.

I have to say so far only Bumblebee really irks me, and that's his R2-D2 voice. Otherwise he's actually fine. Well, that and Skyquake being a poor man's Lugnut. Ooh, you got a minigun. Call me when your punch makes things explode. Otherwise, I really like the entire cast. Especially Arcee... :x

Also, it's cool that they're giving equal focus to both Autobots and Decepticons. And not like just showing how they intend to go through with the evil scheme of the week. Starscream and Soundwave basically got their own story while Optimus and Bumblebee dealt with Skyquake. The science projects wasn't so much a subplot as it was a few jokes that actually ended up paying off great in the end. ("If this were Cybertron, you'd have been given the highest honors!")

I LOVE the new opening - I was wondering if they were ever going to have one. I kind of shy away from the thought of having a theme song with any lyrics, since I personally feel that the last couple of times they tried that it was....botchy. I'm no Geewunner, but unless it sticks really close to the original theme song, I don't really support the idea of one.

I've been watching the Darkness Rising episodes for the past couple of weeks and I am so happy to see anything new. :P For all of the guys out there who are crushin' on Arcee, I totally get it. I don't know, the TFP animation is somehow very sexy. This is by far my favorite incarnation of Starscream, and I must admit I'm totally falling helm over stabilizing servos for him. I mean, really? Look at those heel struts. :x I also think that the F-16 Fighting Falcon is his best alt mode.

However, I am not a fan of slash, and that one scene in space where Starscream creepily and awkwardly looms over a half-dead Megatron for 60 seconds is REALLY gonna get the fangirls going. :-x

I'm completely and utterly captivated by the animation. Yes, there are times when I wish their mouths were more defined or that they had noses, but other than that I find it flawless. This episode will be staying in my DVR for a long time. :D
