Cool, I love how he's so used to these guys he just needs a handful of lines to bring them to life.

No I don't collect those, too expensive for me, plus I feel guilty enough buying the normal trades already.

I have all of IDW'S run in single floppy form but I dont have any trades or the IDW collections so I'm really enjoying the IDW LIMITED stuff.

My LSOTW black label turned up today also! :D The sketch was a Verity sketch which I was a bit bummed about at first but its actually quite a beautiful piece and I'm loving it the more I look at it. I'll post photos later on.

Also The Drift hardcover IDW limited drops for preorder tomorrow too.

*EDIT. There's some real nice stuff being put on display here too :APPLAUSE:

Me and idw have a bit of a history, I only buy the trades not the floppies. And I feel bad enough about that, the label collections look cool and all, but I'm not giving them more of my money.

OK, Derrick Wyatt:

I got this at AA, but since he's a sneaky bastard, he forced you to buy something from him first instead of doing it for free like most of the other artists.
So I got something (which was 40 quid), at first I was super angry about it, but now I'm thankful, because it's super awesome, and that I'll show you tomorrow!

No, that's the Pirate version of Animated Bludgeon, this was made before anything Aligned was officially released. :)

Yup and makes the fact that TFA's final 4th season never made it even sadder. :-(

Nice piece!

I really could do with some new sketches, must get to a comic signing soon!

Hoping to get down to the London Film & Comic Con on the first weekend of July (5th, 6th & 7th) @ Earls Court 2.

http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/

Hey Va'al, how about starting a thread for the LFCC 2013 as there are a wealth of Transformers related artists and writer(s) making an appearance over the weekend including...

Simon Furman
Andrew Wildman
Geoff Senior
Stephen Baskerville
Liam Shalloo
Lee Bradley
Lew Stringer

Plus a wealth of other comic book artists/creators/writers/authors and legends including...

Robert Rankin
Alan Davis
Neal Adams
Mike Ploog
John Bolton
Dave McKean
Adi Granov
Mark Buckingham
Mike Carey
Eduardo Risso
Brian Azzarello
David Lloyd
Peter Milligan
Andy Lanning

...and many more!

I wonder if I could get a sketch from David Hasselhoff?

The HOFF!!

Dave McKean is an awesome mixed media artist and a very nice chap too.
I have met him a couple of times back in the day when my local comic shop got him and the God-like Neil Gaiman in for a signing and to promote Signal to Noise and Mr Punch.

I got a couple of nice sketches too, a lovely A4 sketch of 'Wolverine' by McKean and a truly awesome 'Lil' Wolvie' sketch by Gaiman!!

Neil Gaiman was somewhat amused by my request for a sketch from him, being a writer, but I told him I always ask for sketches from writers too knowing (most) cant really draw to save their lives, which always makes for an amusing, inspired or darn right awful original drawing by a wrting icon! ;)

I will have to dig them out and post a pic! :D

Nice!!
I loved his and Quitely's 'WE3'!

Getting along to a signing is one thing, deciding what gems to take with to get signed is another!

I soooo want to make it London next weekend for LFCC....perhaps a super covert operation, in and out without too much fuss..?
Whom I trying to fool, I would make a day of it, sketches, ligging and several pints of the coldest Cider available!!
Hurrah!

Decided I'm giving up on the weekly issues now that I get to read them digitally, so slowly picking up the trades for MTMTE and RID!

Went to the London Film and Comic Con today, and got a bunch of stuffs.
I'll post them in the coming days, but wanted to share these two photos with you lot.

First - the old school gang (minus JP).

Then - a sketch of Grimlock by Simon Furman. Oh yeah.

That is a very cool little sketch of Grimlock. And I have to say, that pic of the fallen is awesome. The colouring by Bove is fantastic too.

I have just placed an order with Alex Milne for Auto Assembly: Vos, from the DJD!

Which means I will have a Vos from Milne, Griffith, Ed Pirrie, and possibly Roche, already have Carter. That's most of the new guys covered.
And the old guard has done the Grimlock series, so yeah! Woop!

Which reminds me: Geoff Senior Grimlock sketch.
