Turns out we haven't been receiving your emails from your Yahoo account. You can blame that on some very strict DMARC rules that Yahoo and AOL started implementing in the past month that apparently has been causing all sorts of problems similar to this with emails. You can read more about the problem at http://www.zdnet.com/aol-yahoo-email-pr ... 000028783/

Thanks to you and Lost Cybertronian for bringing this to my attention, I modified the contact form on Seibertron.com, in lieu of the changes that AOL and Yahoo rolled out to hopefully ensure that your messages are getting to us properly.

Feel free to send us a test message via the news contact form, Sabrblade, to see if we receive your message.

So would it be too late to post this rather catchy "Technical Difficulties" video?

Just wanted to clarify one other point ... mooncake sent the email from the Club before Sabrblade sent his by about 5 minutes. Technically, no one should get credit for this since Brian from the Club sent out the email to all members which El Duque, myself, and the rest of the staff that are Club members all received. But we don't want to discourage either so credit was given to Mooncake.

Thank you for looking into this, Ryan. I was starting to wonder if either there was a technical issue behind this, or if some person(s) was/were seeing the same news as me and just lightning fast on the news reporting. :P

I've sent a test message to see if it works. If it still doesn't, there's another email address I could switch to using instead.

And don't worry about news credit. I just was curious about the thread I had made seemingly going unnoticed. Brian Savage is original source, so all credit goes to him. :)

In-Hand Images - Transformers Collectors' Club Exclusive Transmutate and Packaging

The official Transformers Collectors' Club Facebook page have uploaded a new set of photos, showing off the exclusive figure Transmutate, the Beast Wars themed redeco of Transformers: Prime First Edition Arcee, and its packaging, which contains space to display/store the free TFCC Rampage figure! And on that note, the Club have also updated their website to say that TFSS 2.0 was just loaded off the vessel, and the first shipment should be arriving next week, and that to make sure they all arrive safely members should triple-check their mailing address. Check the mirrored images out below!

Here's a look at the TRANSFORMERS CLUB EXCLUSIVE Transmutate figure! The figure comes in a special display box with a place for the tech spec card. In addition, there is a hidden alcove in the foam made to hold the FREE TCC membership figure RAMPAGE! You can combine TRANSMUTE with your free RAMPAGE (to be mailed in the near future) and make a two figure boxed set which lines up with the current Club magazine comic!

I haven't been paying that close of attention because I was pretty satisfied with how it looked last year. I can't believe it's going to turn into another example of shrunken head syndrome. Urgh!

Looking forward to Rampage (shrunken head and all), but think I'll wait to see if Transmutate goes on clearance

If you also Notice, the Neck is allot longer and thinner for the smaller head. Though that can be the angles of the photos

yeah, getting a bit worried about that shrunken head. Transmutate looks great, though I was hoping the blue would be closer to the mockup.

I'm not making any judgments about the size of Rampage's head until I have the figure in-hand. Hope it turns out okay, though, since he'll go nicely with last year's Depth Charge.

Trans-Mutate works surprisingly well, but I don't think I can spare money for her right at the moment. Wish I sould, though.

This time, the reason the head is that small is because of those side horns Rampage's head has. The head had to be small enough to fit inside the hole that Prime Megatron's head fits into in the vehicle mode. Since Megatron's head had no side horns, it could fit in whille still being a full sized Deluxe head. But since Rampage's head has those horns sticking out from both sides, the main head that the horns stick out of had to be reduced in order to let the whole thing fit into that hole.

I personally would not have minded if they had just done away with the head's side horns altogether if it meant letting the head itself stay its normal size. After all, the original Protoform X lacked those horns prior to his becoming BW Rampage. However, since many see those side horns as an iconic aspect of Rampage's head, many others disagree with this idea and want the horns included as they are here. Thus, we get a complete head that's scale down to fit all of it into the hole.

That's a great explanation Sabrblade, it really is. To bad it really doesn't justify the head shrinkage; I'm sure funpub with their clever design team could figure something out that would strike a happy medium.

Shortly following the release of images of the Transformers Collector's Club Transmutate figure, we received a notice that the figure is on sale now at The Club's Store for a price of $59.00

Click here to purchase one for yourself! It also comes with a box which can hold both Transmutate and their Beast Wars Protoform X/Rampage homage.

I think they could have fixed it by molding them backswept along the sides of the head. It would allow the head to be bigger, if not perfectly megs head size, and pretty close to the illustrations in the comic.

Pete Sinclair has chimed in elsewhere to reassure us that the head does look acceptable:

Pete@BotCon wrote:Well... Here's the kicker. Due to the design, the head DOES look smaller. If his head extended all the way out, to where the horns on each side reach, then you wouldn't even notice. As it is, the horns really mess with the perspective, and while it is not the most in scale head we have done, it definitely looks fine on my shelf. Does that make sense?

Let me put it this way. I never even opened my P/CP. Rampage sits on my shelf with all the other exclusives in robot mode. So, there ya go...

Seriously, that' Transmutate is ugly. I'm sorry, but it is. I really don't care how exclusive it is, not gonna pay club subscription to pay another 59.00 bucks for that thing. Color is bland, figure is extremely small. For that price (+club sub), gonna get me a masterpiece whatever.

Have you seen the Prime First Edition Arcee figure? She's roughly tall for a Deluxe. Taller than all other FE Deluxes minus Starscream (and maybe Vehicon, haven't sized her up to that one yet).

That's why I forego most Prime deluxe figures. Just preference. But they are pretty small, nonetheless. I just think a figure at that price should stand out a little more with the coloring. I guess a few stickers should do the trick.

No smaller than the average Generations Deluxe figure (since that is the line that the FE molds were originally designed for).

To be fair, the original Transmutate design wasn't exactly awash with color beyond teal and silvery beige.

This one pretty much gets that deco down to a tee, and even adds more color to it with its translucent red plastic.

I agree. But if you look at the FE Arcee figure, the details are accentuated. The smaller lines and the details are very clear. The color on the Transmutate seems to blend together covering much of the details. It's probably just me. :)

I wasn't a collector yet when that release happened so... I'm guessing Punch/Counterpunch had a particularly horrible head?
