Yeah, no interest in the Facebook thing. Don't care to help companies spy on me and data mine more than they already do so I can be hounded with advertising. Hasbro, would it really have been so hard to run the poll on the official Transformers site?

Eh, not to burst your bubble but, you see all those bots logged in at the bottom of the page that are on more often than me? They're not just lurking, they're gathering every tasty bit of info you care to share.
If you truly wish to escape what you describe I suggest unplugging your internet right now and tossing your phone in the toilet.

I'm well aware of how the internet works and I am not some conspiracy nut. I don't, however, care to help make things any easier for the social media corporations. There is a bit of a difference between the two. Hence why things like No Script and Adblock exist.

I'd also like to apologize if my reply to that came off as terse as I meant no insult to you, its just that I am not a fan of the social media revolution, most likely as I am more than a bit anti-social as you may have surmised

I didn't mean to imply that you, specifically, don't have understanding of internet workings. I just happened to quote you as a jumping off point. I hope you don't mean to imply that I'm a conspiracy nut. We did go to the Moon!

No conspiracy implications at all my friend! I am just worked up about not getting to vote in the poll and sounding like the cranky old guy yelling at the kids to get off his lawn  Arcee would have had my vote this go around.

You know what I find funny about people who dislike Facebook because of privacy concerns?

They only have the data that YOU provide.

Did anyone else get an error when they voted?

My votes go to Primal and Blackarachia...

Or at least they WOULD if not for Hasbro restricting this vote to Facebookers only. :BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM:

Optimus Primal. Definitely Optimus Primal. I was honestly shocked when I learned he wasn't already in the Hall of Fame. Let's correct that now.

Quick lesson on Facebook.

Facebook is designed so that you can share with everyone, even people who want to hack your company. This makes Facebook a major security risk for anyone even though you can make certain things private. It would be best if hasbro would have the poll on their site as it is slightly more secure than Facebook. >:oP

By the way, if you want to destroy your phone, drive down the interstate and throw your phone out the window into a ditch! This is best done during a hard thunder storm!

YES I did!

But when I tried voting a second time to be sure, it wouldn't allow me because I'd already voted today, so I guess it went through...?

So, yeah, Facebook voting, big step down for TFHoF.

Of course, anyone who wants to could just sign up. The only reason I ever started a Facebook page was to win BBTS credit or some other contest, and now it's mostly a dump for petitions I've signed. I hardly consider it the greatest threat to my privacy online.

Aw man, you have to have Facebook to vote :(? That sucks. I guess I can see how that's good for preventing cheating, but I don't use social networking sites because they are cesspools for spreading malware and I'm generally not the social sort.

Oh well, at least 2 Beast Wars characters made the list. I was worried when I saw Seibertron.com's nominees, which only included Blackarachnia.

Hopefully the Beast Wars fans will step it up again this year and pull out another win. I really want Has/Tak to keep it going with the Generations Beast Wars stuff.

Not when there are two BW characters this year to split the BW vote.

Seems like anyone could win the vote, really. Two of them were leaders, two are very memorable female characters, three are from the original series, two are from the one that is often regarded as best-written, one of them is the first combiner...

Well, I'd be very surprised if Devastator wins, but hey he got this far. And the combiner vote isn't getting split.

Arcee was inducted. A new, primal sub-routine has taken root, facilitating a synthetic equivalent of rage. I don't care what she's doing in the comics these days, it should have been Devastator, or Unicron. Not Arcee and Rodimus. Bah!

....

still gonna buy the new Arcee figure.
