People you'd like to see work in Transformers (in any form)

Pretty simple question really. Who would you like to see do work related to Transformers? It could be literally anything, from character design to artwork to toy engineering to voice acting to writing. Transformers has had some pretty high-profile people in it, on both sides of the Pacific, so who knows? Maybe our prayers will be answered.

To start off, here's a few I'd like to see.

Shouji Kawamori (Writing/directing, toy design)

Shouji Kawamori is an absolute legend in the world of Mecha. Responsible for Macross, and also engineered the definitive transforming robot aircraft, the Valkyrie variable fighter (which he actually made a transforming wooden model of to help the animators do the transformation sequences with!). A former aircraft engineer and a toy aficionado, he's done work on Transformers before (in fact he engineered the original Starscream toy). In addition he's a pretty damn good director, and Macross has remained a beloved franchise in Japan due to its consistently high quality and occasional batsh*t insanity. Personally I'd love to see a Transformers anime OVA done by him, with an accompanying toyline also done by him.

Hiroyuki Imaishi (Writing/directing)

The genius behind Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, INFERNO COP, Kill la Kill, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Diebuster, FLCL and other similar insanity, I asolutely love Imaishi. He's got a superb, distinctive style, his directorial skills and eye for dynamism are top-notch, and most importantly, he's a massive Transformers fan! I'd love to see his take on the multiverse, even if it was an INFERNO COP style cutout-animated wild ride.

Fumihiko Tachiki (Voice acting)

If ever there was a good candidate for a Japanese voice for Megatron, it was this guy. His voice is just menacing. To put things in perspective, he voiced Gendo Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion. So, yeah. I honestly can't think of a Japanese VA more fitting (aside from Norio Wakamoto, who voiced him in Animated).

So, yeah. Those are a few I thought of off the top of my head. What about you guys?

Quentin Tarantino. That is all.
