Autobot: Probably Wheeljack (I can't believe nobody mentioned him). There's just something cool about an Autobot who is also a scientist that has a workshop on Cybertron.

Decepticon: Starscream (Movie and G1) with G1 Megs being a close second. Just watch the scene in the movie where he flies in roughs up Ratchet and Ironhide in Mission City and flies out unscathed.

I'm a huge 'Con fan, but I'm just not lovin' Starscream anymore. Some of the fangirls (no offense to you, of course) have put me off Screamer.

And besides, Skywarp's clearly the best Seeker.

Autobot: Sideswipe ore sunstreaker but then theirs cup and hotrod, Optimus Prime I don’t know to hard.

Decepticon: Megatron ore Soundwave

Skywarp has one of the best colour schemes but my husband would murder me if I tried to collect him like I do screamer

Hmm. This is a toughie. I'm gonna have to say Jazz as my favorite Autobot and ,lets see, Beast Wars Megsy as my fave Decepticon (well Predacon actually, but whatever). Yesss...

For me the Autobot would have to be optimus prime (G1). I not only loved the cartoon incarnation, but the toys itself brings back many many good memories for me. Those of childhood playing, but also time with my dad which is pretty cool.

As for Decepticon - this one is really tough but I'm going to have to say Trypticon. I remember how magical AND FREAKIN AWESOME it was when my best friend got him for Christmas - he was huge, had lights, walked, great colors...I still love the figure, it's always been a fave. Not only a cool figure, but again great memories of childhood along with it.

Maximal: Surprisngly Tigatron. I thought he was a very deep character and a lot more could have been done with him. Go watch Law of Jungle again. Great episode.

Predacon: Inferno! "DEFEND THE COLONY" He was big, loyal, had firpower, could, fly, and his ass looks like a blender! Gotta love that!

Well, i think my user name indicates my favorite Auto bot. As for decepticon, has to be Starscream, though IDW's version of Megatron is certainly contesting that spot.

The fact that they've given the guy some reasoning behind his actions has only made him even more awesome

It is interesting that everyone has such varied opinions.

My favorite Autobot is Ultra Magnus and favorite Decepticon is Starscream.

my fVORITE cons are doubledealer, megatron(any of them), barricade from movie, sound wave(any soundwave is awesome ), starscream, skywarp and lock down from TFA.
favorite bots: iron hide(from movie and G1), prime of course, wheelie, kup, hotrod, bumblebee G1, mirage, G1 jetfire, hound and G1 prowl.

does it have to be just one bot and con?
