Okay, so remember when I did that mission Where Mercer Frey and I searched for Karliah and then s*** pulled a twist? I finished those mission where I helped her and killed that clown Frey. I have the nightingale armor now and it's sweet. I still find uses for the thieves guild armor though because of the bonuses they give off, so I can still have certain advantages. And I did that mission where I returned the skeleton key. Shouldn't I have not done that mission?

Only if you wanted to keep the Skeleton Key, and I can hardly blame you for that since I put that mission off for the longest time.

Well, if you want to be a Vampire Lord, (Effectively a Vampire, but with a really cool transformation and some extra abilities) there's that. Plus Serana is one of the best followers in the game. Downside? Occasionally vampires will jump you in the wild or even, sometimes, in towns. It gets to be a hassle sometimes.

Resident Evil: Revelations:
BEATEN! Not bad! Far more like 4 then 5 and 6 were, and actually really fun. Also, I bought the Lady Hunk DLC. I took it as a parody of "sexy female" versions of characters; she's got nice legs, but from the waist up she looks exactly like Hunk. In universe I decided she is Hunk's oddly chipper little sister that he is slightly embarrassed by. I did a few levels of Raid Mode, which is fun, though I would have preferred Mercenaries.

Is that it? I'll go all bath salts on them. But what about sun light? Does that effect me? Screw it. I have to restart it anyway...

Right here. Get real friendly with UESP, it'll save your life more than anything.

...huh, now there's something I didn't know. Stage Four vampires won't be attacked on sight if you have Dawnguard installed...that was really my only reason to not become one. I might actually go Vampire Lord now.

Trine 2: Director's cut
Not sure how this usurped bioshock as my top-priority game but it did. And after some fun playsessions, I have beaten the game plus the goblin uprising DLC.
Overall, a fun game and astoundingly pretty, but it's biggest strength is its biggest weakness. Many of the puzzles have no obvious solution, which means the player is forced to think outside the box on many of them. More often than not this left me wondering if I had actually solved the puzzle or just somehow cheated it.

Super Luigi U
Downloaded this on a Whim just for the fun of it. And oh what fun to be had.
Levels with only 100 seconds on the clock, much faster pace, and much harder difficulty, what's not to love?
Cleared the Acorn plains realm. Got all star coins except for the boss castle. Will come back to that later.

Bioshock Infinite
Enjoying the game well enough but not getting into it as much as I'd hoped. Escaped the hall of heroes with my game-breaking shock power and stole a skyship. Game over except my character acted like an ass and got a reasonable wrench to the head in response. Woke up in the worker's distract trying to find a gunsmith, who I just found out has been taken by the local authorities.

Saints Row 2:
Wooo, I was waiting for someone else to post before putting my progress up here. Did...wow, damn near everything. Cleared out the Ronin, the Samedi, and the Brotherhood, now I'm working on Ultor.

The is, by the by, the only SR game I can bring myself to give a damn about. Having played it, my interest in the later games has increased ever so slightly...not enough for me to want them, though.

Saints Row IV

Got this game a few months ago, finally played it and beat it. I especially liked how there was a Transformers Reference.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years:
Cleared Ceodore's Chapter, working on Rydia's now. Just got Luca's dolls into the party.

From what bits ive played, I think you would enjoy saints row the third and saints row IV over 1 and 2. I mean, its just a super nerdy "who gives a **** lets blow up the earth cuz we can" version of GTA, but with super powers.

Devil May Cry 3.

**** you Vergil! Seriously! How the hell do I drop this punchy douchebag? The few times I have knocked him into his sword phase, he just destroys me! Dude means business.

It's not that I wouldn't enjoy it, it's that I just don't care. Nothing I've seen about those games has left me even remotely interested. In fact, with 3, I remember the most fun I had was looking at the trailers and picking out where I've seen each element before. (It was mostly Mercenaries or Just Cause)

I beat him roughly 5 minutes after posting that. It was still tricky and the end of the fight was very close. We're talking one hit determines victory, and we were both in devil trigger. Ran away and shocked him with Nevan. Felt good man.
So...Theres a third character you can unlock in DMC2? WHY must this game keep calling me back! And its Trish too! GAH! And I just watched Dante bitchslap a hundred demons to death using a motorcycle as a melee weapon! (Why cant I unlock that?) Im so conflicted...

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker:
I had planned to get this for PSP. Then I found out there's an HD edition, so I could just play off my PS3. Which is cool, since it means I don't have to delete FF4.

Just killed Peace Walker itself. (No, it didn't sing Daisy Bell, though it wouldn't have shocked me if it did) That hasn't ended anything, though, since for every solution thrown at Big Boss, it turns out that just didn't work.

While I'm sincerely digging this game, I'm not digging the difficulty. I'm getting my ass kicked just a little too hard for my tastes.

Hearthstone Beta

Thanks to an amazing friend on Twitter, I finally got into the beta and it's been devouring my life.

Made a Murloc deck for kicks, which is a blitzkrieg of cheap minions that synergize with each other, not expecting to win much with it since it can get shut down hard.

At the time of this posting, it's hovering over a 50% win rate.

How fast did you play through? If you do Outer OPs, EXOPs, and capture vehicles instead of blowing them up, the game gets easier. You just need to recruit the right people, assign them correctly, and develop your tech (Dont forget to recruit Hideo Kojima!), and do your Outer/EX OPs, they give you specs, and soldiers that exceed all others in certain fields.

Its grinding, but its really rewarding!

And you dont know difficulty.
Let me host a game, I'll show you difficulty. I can also help you, just an FYI, Ive had Peace Walker for years now.

Bioshock Infinite
Putting time into this one and trying to decipher the storyline. I've gone world-hopping and time-tripping, but now back to just trying to rescue the damsel in distress.

Rayman Legends
Picked this game up and just had to play it. I'm now finding myself enjoying it less than I'd hoped. The platforming is awesome (the first music level was really fun), but the forced single-player co-op brings this to a grinding halt.
I have the Wii U version. Entire levels will have the game control the character and you control the support character moving platforms and distracting enemies. It's a neat concept but gets irritating when the character is out of your control and not making jumps or reaching for collectibles that you know are in reach. I hear the other versions have the opposite problem where you can control the character but have only minimal control over the support character. Overall, a very flawed premise that makes me dread when it comes up.
And Murphy and Sir Globrax can go jump down the deepest pit they can find. usually, I make them do it because they won't do what I want them to do. :-x

Super Luigi U
My other platformer du jour. Halfway through Layer cake desert.

Literally just finished Grand Theft Auto V. Fantastic game with a spectacular ending. Similar in scope and playability to Skyrim, there is always a good amount of 'side quests' to be doing at any one time coupled with random events occurring as you make your way through the city. Immensely enjoyable.

Kicking the **** out of old ladies and taking their car never gets old.

Batman Arkham Origins

Like the first 2 games, I'm playing the f*** out of this and I'm going to earn the platinum trophy. It's like 93-ish% just as good as Arkham City. But there was something I noticed that might be a good thing. See, I started the first 2 games on hard. Went through it like a peace of cake. I started this on hard, and it was actually hard. So I restarted it on normal just so I can get the story with ease. I beat the story missions and a good number of the side missions. Now I have to restart it and play on hard now. But news. Part of the ending was Amanda Waller walking up to Deathstrokes cell and shown him a form for the Suicide Squad. So there might be another game where you have to fight them now. So now instead of like, "Oh they just made this while Rocksteady is making their 3rd Arkham game", it's going to be 2 studios making the series. Maybe

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate:
Bought this for Halloween. Turns out, it's a fun side-scroller that happens to mix Lords of Shadow with classic Castlevania and just a smidge of Metroidvania. Also I get to play as Simon, Trevor, and Alucard.

Just beat the Succubus as Simon, now playing as Alucard to hunt down Vampire Dad himself.

Batman Arkham Origins

I beat it again, but on hard this time. I beat the story missions and some side missions. I'm going try and 100% everything before I start New Game Plus. I've played the multiplayer a little. It's alright. It could be better. I also found out that if I unlock 10 costumes on the BAO iPod game, I unlock the Red Son costume on the PS3 version.

I'm tempted to buy this, but the scarce 9 hour gaming time seems rather short.

That said, is this the kind of game that's actually fun to play over and over again, like Splinter Cell Blacklist, FOC and MGR? The 3 games that I mentioned don't exactly take weeks to play, but the gameplay is fun enough that I found myself replaying them frequently.

Beat this a few days ago but haven't got around to reporting it.
While the overall narrative and gameplay was excellent, I found a lot of little things that kept pulling me out of the experience. You have no idea how disappointed I was when I saw flock of birds and found that I couldn't shoot them. They wouldn't even fly away I just fired bullets and the birds stayed where they were. I guess I've been spoiled by other games.
My only real gripe is that I thought the final sequence of the ending made no sense.
So how does drowning Booker unravel the timeline? Booker and Comstock are two different paths for the same person. i understand that. But Booker is well past the decision point, meaning that his death has no affect on the alternate paths. Maybe if he had gone back and bribed the preacher to kill him or did it himself, it would make more sense.
Also, the trip to Rapture served no purpose other than fan service and a lazy way to kill Songbird. Unless Elizabeth turned out to be a little sister, I saw no point to going there.

Rayman Legends
Still hating the Murphy stages but loving everything else. Cleared the 3rd realm, the Spanish gourmet themed world. Nothing like taking on a 50-foot lucha libre wrestler over a lava pit.

Super Luigi U
Cleared frosted glacier. Nearly done with sparkling waters.

Retro City Rampage
The awesomeness continues. just trailed Biffman to his house, stole his house and identity, and had to escape from a pitfall-esque crocodile trap by feeding the Jester's henchmen to the crocs until they weren't hungry.

She kills him at the decision point, before he made the choice to run away instead of going through with it.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate:
BEATEN! At 100%. Simon and Alucard beat Dracula, though knowing this franchise (And the next game) we all know that's not going to stick.

Battlefield 4

Got this game on Day 1, I played a little bit of SP about 2 hours or so. I've played a lot of Multiplayer and I'm enjoying it.

Batman: Arkham Origin

Got this game day 1 as well, haven't played it much, because of BF4s release, I think I got past beating Death stroke.

Jet Set Radio

Ok, first time playing this...I can feel you people glaring at me already...and its pretty good so far! Just beat the tutorial and my first run in with another gang, the Love Shockers.

If you've played the first 2 games and liked them, then you'll like this one too. It's made by different people but everything is pretty the same with multiplayer added to it. I say Origins is almost as good as City was. I think they were good ass games and this one as well. So I think it is fun to play over again. But I'm playing other things while I still go around and collect things in batman.

I was just trying to be nice!) with a sticky bomb, and they call in the rhino and start deliberately hunting me with it. Totally called for, right? I hate randoms 90% of the time. Devil May Cry 3

Just beat Lady, and...my shadow? Oh, and Jester again!
Right now im tapdancing on hell's chess board.

Someone humor me, is DMC4 as awesome as this one? Because this game is just, I have no words to describe how amazing it is.

Also, Ive been trying to unlock Trish in DMC2, and I noticed something. I knew I saw that giant spider demon somewere before, and after some searching, it turns out you can summon him in Bayonetta, made by the same people (To my knowledge). Thats were I saw him. She also says "flock off feather face" if I remember right. Love that game even more now.
