Hey guys!

Picked up my copy of Black not so long ago. My main guys are Serperior, Krookodile, Beheeyem and Carracosta. I also have an Axew named Kibble. Get it? Y'know, because its Japanese name is Kibago, and it crunches stuff to kibble and... Yeah... 8-}

I am also initiating a special Sandile breeding business if anyone is interested!

With love and berries,

Badass Grimlock

Got Black version! Can't wait for the remake of Ruby and Sapphire!

I'm heading to Victory road now, my Vanilluxe is level 50 as well!

Does anyone know what level Klang evolves? And I also want to know what Golette evolves to and what level it evolves, I kind of want it for the Elite Four.

And I'm torn between these Pokemon for my party:

Lv. 26 Excavilier

Lv. 25 Archen

Lv. 33 Golette

Lv. 3? Blue Dragon Guy from Dragon Spiral Tower.

Thanks!

Hey guys!

Just wanted your help on a breeding strategy I'm working on. You see, I got this level 1 Charmander in a Wi-Fi trade today that knew Flare Blitz, Dragon Pulse, and Dragon Dance. It evolved after a few bouts with a Lucky Egg and an Exp. Share, and I got the crazy Idea to breed my own "Super Charmanders" and give them away over Wi-Fi. I came up with this strategy (Note that this is from a player who hasn't gotten his National Dex yet):

That chart is very confusing. Image

Anyhoo, physical 'zard sucks, and Charizard sucks even more when it comes to competitive battling because it's weak to three (and more now) of the most common moves in the game. So by the time you dragon dance up to a decent attack stat it'll be dead from one of its horrendous trio of weaknesses, belly drum won't really help either because that'll just make it die faster. My recommendation is to drop flare blitz and breed a super "special" charmander. Go for Heat Wave over Flare Blitz or Blast Burn, since Heat Wave has no cooldown time and no recoil with only a 10% drop in accuracy. Plus it can do more damage over two turns than Blast Burn can. Give it a charti berry to protect it from rock attacks and pray you can kill your opponent before it can hit you with another one.

And if you see a water type, run. Charizard's only counter to a water type is solar beam, and they'll see that coming a mile off.

Should I try Super Axews then? :???:

You can do whatever you want!

I just gave you my opinion because you asked for help, but if you want to breed Charmanders, breed Charmanders and don't let anyone stop you!

As of today I have 100% completed Pokémon White, including the Pokédex and all the miscellaneous tasks to earn my platinum trainer card. (Pending event Pokémon; Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect)

Congrats! Thats pretty good in around 90 hours! It usually takes me way longer to fill up my 'dex.

I've only got around 5 hours into mine. Now that I'm an adult, it's increasingly hard to find the proper amount of time needed to beat a Pokemon game :-(

Beat the Elite 4 + bit after. That... Hydragon/Hydrogen/Hydriedgon, or whatever (I still have yet to memorize all the names), the three-headed dragon was HARSH. Had to stall it out with Serperior's Leech Seed and Gigalith's Sturdy and a lot of Hyper Potions.

Zekrom/Reshiram is evidently easier to catch than most Legendaries, even Dialga/Palkia. Could've saved that Masterball. #-o

Since Platinum they really toned down the Legendary catch rates. I remember going through a hundred Ultra Balls on Groudon and NOT catching it! It got so bad that Groudon would struggle itself to fainting rather than be caught, it was ridiculous.

Making them easier was one of their better moves, now they just need to turn down the encounter rate just a little.

Groudon was hell for me as well. Good to know the capture rates are similar to Platimun!

Alright.

Beat the Elite Four. Got Reshiram. Beat N. Then Ghetsis comes in. His Cofagrigus and Bouffalant come in, and I dispatch them with a little difficulty. Then he sends out his BIG SHMUCKING HYDREIGON which annihilates my whole damn team! All I ask is a few tips.

Hydreigon has plenty of weaknesses to exploit, Dragon, Ice, Fighting, and Bug, try to have some powerful moves of these types on a few members of your team and you'll be laughing all the way to the hall of fame.

Other than that, try to level up a little more? Catch a few more legendaries? The musketeer trio should wipe the floor with Ghetsis once they're appropriately leveled.

Training a Hydreigon of my own, the Dragon/Bug/Fighting/Ice weaknesses are quite nasty. You can get a good, strong attack TM for each type (Dragon Claw/X-Scissor/Brick Break/Blizzard) before the Elite 4, and a fairly wide number of Pokemon can learn them.
A Plasma grunt will teleport you to and from the Castle, so you can train up some more/grab good TMs you may have missed/catch the Musketeer Trio.

The level jump after the whole story is crazy.

***I remember when Bug and Dragon had virtually no attacks to speak of***

Soul Silver: Beat the Elite Four again yesterday, then I got lucky and caught mewtwo, zapdos, and moltres, and now I'm (again) trying to beat Red/Ash. I'm getting closer to winning, but it'd be a lot easier if I had remembered to stock up on some potions and more revives...
Oh, and as a side-note to anyone who gets comcast, the original pokemon cartoon is on demand!

Don't know why I'm so lethargic with B/W. I want to finish it.. guess I'm just not used to it being Kanto/Johto XD. It's so visually fun, it actually feels like a movie., instead of just "bam, Pokedex, collect everything, kk peace out", I actually want to spend my time enjoying the game.

Hey, would anyone here be willing to trade for a celebi? I don't care what level. I'd be willing to trade something like a mew or an arceus!

I have a spare Celebi for you, my friend, and what's more I will let you have it for the low low price of one Bidoof. (Or anything else you have knocking around.)

Let me know which game you want it on so I know if I should Pokétransfer it or not.

I have yet to do that Giovanni fight with Celebi. Heck, I haven't done any of those event-related quests (Sky Shaymin, spike-eared Pichu, Regigigas summoning the other Regis, Arceus 'birthing' the space/time dragons, etc.) I got all the event Pokemon/items, but I just sort of boxed them away and forgot about them.

Speaking of events, I'm playing through Black with Victini - its event is ending, so this is really the only chance to have a playthrough with a Legendary (well, one you catch yourself) this early on.

I want one for Soul Silver. Haha are you sure you just want a bidoof? Because I happen to have a lvl 50 shaymin and some other rare pokemon that I'd be willing to trade! (I do have a bidoof though. Would you like it to be a certain level?)

I'm sure. There's nothing I want or need at the moment, and I have four Celebis so what the heck!

My SS friend code is: 1892-3526-5596

As soon as I get yours, I'll be waiting in the lobby.

I've never actually tried a direct trade like this before, so I apologize if I'm slow or anything. Anyway, thank you very much!
