As much as I want that to happen, it's actually supposed to be a prequel to Prime. WFC for that matter as well. -sigh- At least it has epic cinematics, and it's better than Halo: Reach's. Sad...

EPIC WIN!! I am addtitionally pleased that they finally got the size difference between Grimlock and Prime right. A T-rex would have a significantly larger robot mode than a semi/truck, I think.

Absolutely loved the trailer. Song took a few plays to warm up to, but it was a great choice, especially in lyrics. Also, to answer an earlier question, Bruticus IS playable in FoC. Campaign only, of course, same with Grimlock and the Dinos.

Also, I took the trailer and swapped the audio with a different song, that fits quite well, too! Check it out

Watch Animated. This is the case.

The song is so perfect...if you listen to the words scene for scene, they pretty much tell the story of the sad, bitter end and how they will need a lot more than guns and muscle, to cross the humbling river of space and find peace and salvation from this terrible war.

Bumblebee and Optimus show such amazing emotion and devotion in that one handshake it brings tears to my eyes.

The end when grimlock comes out and him and optimus just nod at each other...toghther we will cross the riverrrrr....RWAWR!!!

Bruticus.... Such a smooth combining way. I just hope we can have combiners in multiplayer. I have no idea how control will be like. But I bet it would be awesome.

That video looked awsome! I'm not a big fan of the music for it, though I can see why they used it. One thing that gets me is; Why does Grimlock have RED optics?! Very few Autobots have red optics, and Grimlock wasn't one of them. Superion, Metroplex, and that one TargetMaster (name I can't recall ) are the ones, and Beachcomber had Silver.
Seperate issue: For the life of me, I can't tell where, or what color, Blast-Off's optics are. Either, They're grey above the Mouth plate, or singular purple, over the nose. For the life of me, I can't make that face.

Grimlock has both, in the cartoon his eyes are blue and his eyes are red for toys. The new masterpiece Grimlock lets u change the eye color too. But I imagine they chose red to highlight the "rage" component, where his superpower is the rage and transforming to T-rex.

OK. Now the initial shock 'n' awe has subsided, I think I'm going to nit-pick.

I'm still not digging Optimus' new look. He's just too blocky and simple looking. The only reason that it really bothers me is that if FoC is getting it's own figure line, it might include voyager class figures, and I'd much rather have a voyager WFC Optimus than this one. All the other characters have the same models, why change Optimus (and, I think, Megatron)?

The other thing is that clasped hand embrace between Optimus and Bumblebee. Now, while I haven't experienced it (and probably never will), I appreciate that there can be a certain bond that forms between those who fight alongside each other, so I don't mean to sound like a totally insensitive asshole when I say what I'm about to say. I sort of know what High Moon Studios were going for with that bit, but I've noticed something that ruins it for me. The red highlights on Bumblebee's cheeks have always kind of made me think of the rosey red cheeks you get when you blush. Combining that with the way his eyes fade slightly (probably due to damage, but makes them look like they're fluttering), and 'Bee looks like he's properly in love with Optimus. It's just a little too weird for me.

I just liked Phil LaMarr's smoothness for the character. I can understand where you are coming from but I still wouldn't cast Whyte as Jazz, maybe Khary Payton as a second choice. Also Phil LaMarr is probably one of my top five voice actors of the decade. Green Lantern, Samurai Jack, Vamp, etc. He's good at what he does.

Still, it'll probably be Scott Whyte or some other random person. Seeing as it is Activision we're talking about. And the TFPrime actors were all either hired for movie fame or some other random reason, rather than them actually having been involved in Transformers before, or in some cases even being a professional voice actor.
