:michaelbay: :KREMZEEK:
You can now pre-order Abominus and Weirdwolf over at Transformers Emporium.

I can only except a limited number at the present so please understand its first come
first serve. Expected release date by the end of April.

:BOT: http://www.transformersemporium.com :CON:

I'm also taking orders for the super rare G1 Gnaw Repro, no one has had them since their original release, not even ko toys, but we can get them.

This is a fan run site, so if you have a question or just want to talk Transformers, drop me a line.

Haters will be shot, and bodies dumped in the lake behind my house. I live in Fl. so you know it has gators. :) :P

Are we talking authentic or KO's?

:BOT: Third Party Toys, same as I-Gear, Impossible Toys, TFC,
Fansproject, maketoys, DR WU etc, etc. Habro nor Takara has ever done a redo on these guys.
Though it would be nice if they did in the Encore Series, along with ChromeDome.. :CON:

His question is are they KO's or originals.

A example of a knock off is the flimsy yellow constructicons that you buy from Big Lots, a third party toy is I-Gear, etc..
They are NOT the same.

A KO is a remake of an existing figure using the same mold (a recast).

A 3rd party is someone like fansproject, maketoys, etc that make their own original toys from their own new molds and do not recast.

IE: Kup's comic head is an original 3er party product, not a KO because it did not exist before.

Now please answer the question.

Sure as I said,
A "KO", is a toy made from the designs of an original product or the likeness there of, for any character/toy, (in this case made by hasbro or takara).
Which is not officially made by Takara nor Hasbro.
"Definition by hasbro and takara as stated by their PR people"
"3rd Party", The people that make KO's.

Your definition is incorrect.. As you state KO's are mede from existing molds,
when in fact they are made from new molds of existing designs.

Kups head is a 3rd party KO of the original which is the property of Hasbro /Takara.

Anyone that thinks I may be wrong, please contact Hasbro's PR department, they will inform you of their stance on the matter.

Nope, Kups head is not a ko, it is originally molded, I think someone else posted stuff about this in another thread and you and him went at it.

And just because their PR people said it does not mean that it is gospel. If they said the moon was made of green cheese I guess you would believe that too right.

Yeah, I am going to listen to their biased stance on the subject. Opinions vary.

So you are telling me that this is a KO?

That figure is a brand new mold, Kenner/Hasbro made a reflector years ago, however it did not look anything like this. This is a re imagining and new sculpt.

This is a KO

I know because I have it (bought it from Tuesday Morning).

Yep, of an existing character. Kup and Reflector likeness are the property of Hasbro,
there for the items you just showed me are KO's, though I prefer to call them 3rd Party,
Reproductions.
Now if it was a new character that they had created themselves, then
that would be different..
And congrats on the recent purchase,I own them both as well..
I'm a big fan, hence why I sell 3rd Party/ KO toys for those that cant get them.
Now, do you have anything to say to me thats not blatently obvious as a means to
just annoy me..?
Because seeing as your a Mod I find it slightly less than amusing you rehashing stuff and
trying to force your personal opinions on others. >:oP
I answered your question, do you have any more? If so I'll try and get to them tomm, I have
a nice cold drink an a episode of American dad to get to.
Night..

Your attitude needs to go ( I see why I have received complaints about you) , I responded to this thread due to pm concerns from other users that is all. I am not forcing my opinion, I am stating something that pretty much everyone here agrees with (thus the PM complaints I received), but you are set in your ways so I am not even going to entertain this anymore.

Yeah I have something to say to you, please chill with this attitude that you have. You sell toys on your own website which is in direct conflict with advertisers on this website. If you are selling toys here then you need to make some sort of agreement with the site owner.

board rules

Your reply
Now, do you have anything to say to me thats not blatently obvious as a means to

breaks this rule
1. No flaming, trolling, harassing, or baiting other guests.
Flaming should be self evident, trolling means to make posts or threads for the intended purpose of starting an argument, while baiting is any post intended to make another user resort to flaming. Harassment means following a user or group of users around through multiple threads to flame them, bait them, or otherwise cause them to want to avoid the boards because of a user's actions towards them. If there is a discussion and there ends up some sort of disagreement on someones personal opinion, simply try and respect each others opinions without forcing them on others.

You selling items from your store here violates this rule

5. No Spam or Commercial Advertising.
Do not make threads that have absolutely no constructive purpose (such as "Post about anything here!" threads). If your thread does not have at least some attempt at a topic, it will be considered spam and locked. This includes spam posts just so you can pad your post count. We are also not here to be free advertising to make you money. If you want to advertise on Seibertron.com, contact a moderator or the site admin and we'll see about working something out with you. Otherwise, any thread linking to a commercial site for the express purpose of getting guests to buy things from it will be locked, and the link removed. Do not continuously bump your thread as this can be considered spam to pad up your post count, let others move it back to the top.

And this is the last word on this
11. Mod's the Word
If a moderator/administrator has to step in and hand out warnings/bans or other disciplines adhere to their wishes. Do not treat the warning as grounds for a personal vendetta. Warnings are carefully thought out, and flaming, bating or harassing a staff member because of it will only lead to a harsher reprimand.

I am tired of getting complaints about you so please chill with this attitude that you have.
Thank you.

*edit*
It was brought to my attention that you had received 3 warnings in your first 5 days here.. That is a 3 day ban.
See you in three.

For the record - I consider a KO exactly as Cyber Bishop described. Calling it anything else is aggrevating and confusing to collectors.
