Skids, Bumblebee and Hoist from Amazon for my son for Xmas. Hoist was offered @ 4.99 as a deal incentive for the dollar amount reaching 30.00+ He's a tad on the small side, but I love how his hitch transforms to his weapon. Skids is my favorite of this wave by far, my only complaint is posing as bot is damn near impossible, have to lean him up against my PC tower. For as cheap as the plastic seems on Bee, I admit I'm in love with this design/mold from IDW's line. For some reason every series version of him leaves me cold, and I usually avoid him, (His Prime iteration one of the few I'm missing from that line). The local TrU was wiped after the holidays, and I almost picked up their one remaining Thundercracker, but my son whom I collect with didn't want to spend his gift card $ on him as repaints don't excite him, at all. He's happy with the Starscream I got him last year. TrU has 4 MP Acid Storms, and the one I visited by chance out of town had 4 as well. He doesn't seem to be moving at all. Gonna keep on eye him as I'm sure TrU will mark him down in the coming months, soon as he's lower than 74.00 I'll make my move.

Side note: The Walgreens my oldest son works at had Prime Smokescreen, which has eluded me since release till now. Walgreens markup is ridiculous, and even with his employee discount cost me 12.00. Gladly paid it though as I've been looking for him at retail for months. Now if I can just nail down Prowl.....

First, there's the Target Exclusive BH Abobinus set. My second one. I'll keep this one sealed so I was prepared to pay the 15$ (Instead of 27-ish) because it's on clearance.
...It rang at 9.30$. WITH the taxes! But the real deal is not that.

It's THIS: (picture related)

Image

Nothing is KO.
Everything come loose, but 100% complete with instructions.
Great condition with a bit of display dust.

-Classic voyager Ultra Magnus plus his Fan Project armor and the upgrade kit.
-Universe deluxe Sideswipe
-Universe deluxe Ironhide
-Universe deluxe Dinobot
-Henkei Classic Jetfire

It's the 4th or 5th time that I deal with this local seller. Of course, it was bought in person so no shipping fees at all. So, how much was this whole lot? (minus Abobinus)
...
140$CAN!

Too bad I wasnt rich nor quick enough to grab all of his other Classics and Henkeis. Still, I'm pretty glad for this haul!

Nice! :D

I have a Universe Razorclaw arriving from Seibertron himself.
It's somewhere in the Atlantic at the moment I'm guessing. :-?

Found two Generations Metroplexes in their boxes(which were both pretty beat up) at a thrift store. Both were missing the missiles to their red guns, one was missing the sticker sheet, and one of the Scampers was missing an arm, but for $5 each(!!), I'm not complaining.

5$ each.... Man, that was one hell of a lucky find! Try to complete the first one by canibalizing the other parts and sell the spare for cheap to a customizer... Or try to customize it yourself.

Got Generations FOC Skywarp. So now the basic Hasbro seeker set is complete for me. Have to say the Deluxe Generations characters have really carried the 2013 year and into 2014 it looks like they will as well. A handful of the voyagers were good for last year. Others could have been executed better.

Got my MP-08 re-release Grimmy... so amazing. Cant believe I didnt get him when he was at TRU, if I find him this year there will be another in my collection so he can be posed in both forms.

Saw the YOTH Optimus and Starscream in my TRU today. Not impressed, the trailer is seriously clear though almost cant see it in the box, its that clear. And Screamer just looks like a overblown pile of plastic to me.

I'm going to wait either for a sale or if he comes out locally.
At worst, there's always BBTS.

He is definitely a monster in scale though. He barely fits between the shelf spacing. His box and the figure fills it up, is as large as some of the Legacy Star Wars bases that go on the bottom shelf. The Optimus box is about as big as the Ultra Magnus Platinum box, but its deeper with the trailer up and opened around him.

When it comes to collecting and displaying our beloved Classics figures, there comes a time when one may choose to update/upgrade on what we originally bought with a more fitting deco or scaled figure.

It begins! ;)

Bagged myself a Henkei Ultra Powerglide in his red deco to replace my creamy grey Universe Ultra Powerglide, via a U.K. based Ebay seller.

Very pleased with him and look forward to getting him posed for photos and displayed over the weekend. I remember owning the original G1 red mini-bot way back when, so I see this Henkei version as a great update for a classic figure. :D

He's a great seller, bought a bunch of deluxes off him recently for a song, he's also selling Masterpiece Megatron for a very good price for those who are interested.

I got Generations Rhinox. Since I live in Manitoba (Province in Canada), it can be hard to find certain Transformers, as we end up with a lot of peg-warmers, so stores don't order the newer waves. It sometimes can be really difficult to find certain ones you want (thank god for the internet). I was shocked to see the bulk of the first 3 waves of the Generations Deluxes / Voyagers at the TRU by me. I didn't think I'd find Rhinox, but he was there, and I love how well done he is. Now, if only they do a Generations Tarantulas so I can have both my favorite Maximal & Predacon remakes on display together with the other forms. (I still have the original and Transmetal forms of both Rhinox & Tarantulas).

Found Generations Rattrap and Tankor at my local Target today. I'm in Colorado, so if you're in that relative area keep a lookout for these guys.

There was also a sale at the time, so all Generations deluxes were only $9.96 instead of the usual $14.99 :D
