I should have waited to buy a SS Bumblebee until after they push out a second series of them where the door wings fold onto the back.

But they are wrong. Because only TRUE 100% accuracy for the bot mode can only be achieved with a statue / figure.

They are about as wrong as many G1 MPs are wrong. They are really accurate and are better than the statues cause they can transform. to me, they do it better justice by this fact. 100% perfection is only achievable on a statue yes, but that is the same for almost any design, including the new MPs, so I still say MPM Bee and Barricade are proof you can truly give justice to movie figures and still transform
