That Jawbreaker looks like a Unicron turning into a Pachycephalosaurus rather than being a unique character

Found Jawbreaker (and Starscream) at Walmart tonight. He's pretty simple, but has an effective transformation. I like the way everything tucks away leaving him kibble free. Definitely a worthwhile Warrior class figure.

Damn, I really want him. I started looking 2 days ago, no such luck at my stores yet. They are filled with Skywarps

While Jawbkreaer has yet to choose his alt mode in the Transformers Earthspark show, his spoilerific toy is being found in the US. Fellow Seibertronian Emerje found it in a Walmart in Maine. Starscream is part of the same wave of warrior class toys.

One guy was selling it on eBay but by the time I got around to buying it it had already sold.

Video Review for Transformers Earthspark Jawbreaker

Thanjs to chuckdawg1999, we have a video review of warrior class Jawbreaker from Earthspark. We get good looks at both his robot and dinosaur mode. Enjoy!

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Jawbreaker is a fun little figure that's a joy to transform and says a lot in a small package. I really appreciate how the weapon gimmick is so well hidden, it really took me a moment to find it. Hopefully, this shows up at retail sooner than later since I know Jawbreaker is on a lot of fans lists.

Thanks Chuckdawg for the review. I wonder how he matches up in CHUG scale. If the height works, I'll get it and repaint it into Maccadam.

I've always wondered when will Hasbro do the Primus' Thirteen in CHUG scale/style. God I'd be extremely happy to have a shelf section with only the First Primes.

The rumored Vector Prime got me hyped. But I doubt that'll be the first of the 13 any time soon... UNLESS the new Skybound TF comics come out with the reveals of all of them. That storyline will be EPIC if it becomes reality.

I found him at retail website ago. I didn't know he hadn't shown up yet. I've been thinking about opening him but oh well lol

He's a fun little figure, I keep picking him up off my desk to mess around with. He can even do a decent DJD Tesarus impersonation if you pop out the dino arms in bot mode. ;)

As for height, he's "short Deluxe" (yes, I know he's a Warrior), I'm guessing about the same as Earthrise Cliffjumper. The smallest Deluxe I have on my desk right now is Bumblebee Movie Cybertronian Arcee and she's taller than him.

That's won't do for a CHUG scale Maccadam stand-in. The wait continues...

I found Jawbreaker tonight completely by surprise. He is adorable! My favorite Terran, and his toy is adorable. I love it in hand. He's like Styggy from Jurassic world Fallen Kingdom but cuter while still looking dangerous. I am so glad to have him.

First Look at Nightshade's Owl Statue Alt Mode in Toy Form

If anyone didn't watch the 11th episode of Earthspark's first season, it's a solid recommend. Not only do you get a well written episode of Transformers fiction, but you also get the return of Tarantulas in a TV show with an amazing design as well as one of the most interesting alt mode choices of all Transformers fiction. When all seems lost, Nightshade decides to scan a statue of a stylized owl. You can see it below in the images. They then get wings and use this to get the upper hand on Tarantulas and save the day.

This very original alt mode is the reason why some fans were very curious to get a look at the upcoming deluxe Nightshade toy. Well we finally have images of this toy and you can see it below. The wings seems to be detachable, to help give the robot a more sleek silhouette. Let us know if you think the alt mode was well translated to toy form or not and if it interests you.

The images were found on Instagram as well as from a video review

Ever since I got TM2 Prowl in the summer of '99, much as I liked his beast mode's one red 'scouter' eye (implying he gained the knowledge of a great strategist by being able to read the old tech specs without the red plastic strip), it left me wanting a toy with a less organic, more symmetrical owl mode.

Well, careful what you wish for. All of Nightshade's awesome features like the head and wings are overwhelmed by the totally unconcealed bot arms being right out in front whereas they'd be underneath and somewhat ignorable on most other types of birds...but at least the sloppy full-breasted undercarriage kibble is symmetrical.

Still bought on sight though!

Is it me or does the silver below the eyes and beak make Nightshade look like there's a giant grin on the face?

It depends on the lighting and the angle of the face, but no, it's not just you. I'm very excited to get two more Terrans, and I hope that there will be more in the Warrior and Deluxe classes.

But an owl.

It's a great looking figure, really love the colors and how solid the owl mode looks. Moreso the wings being detachable and the mounts folding away in bot mode is a "chef's kiss" moment, really well thought out figure.

I hope that, like Cyberverse, they continue to do bonus Deluxe figures that don't include BAF parts. Really want a Deluxe Tarantulas. We need Hashtag, but I think she'll have to be a Spin Changer given her size.

First impression I got too. But then I rewatched the episode and seeing the altmode in motion makes me see this figure as intended.

His beast mode legs/torso look mistransformed. His head looks alright, but his torso looks unintegrated. He's got two pylons bolted to the front of his chest.

Their toy looks great! That owl mode looks great, and I like how it turned out.

We have 4 of the Terrans now, and all seem to have pretty solid toys.

Now we just need a Hashtag that isn't a finger flipper!
