My kiddo wanted Nemesis Leo Prime, and he's actually pretty durable if kinda finicky to transform. /Shrugs

Skylinx is well worth it I assure you.

But be warned about Nemesis Leo. He is finicky to transform and he does come with LOTS of little guns that will be easy to lose.

Yep, those Nemesis Leo guns "disappeared" instantly. ;-)

Furthermore, he comes with two extra guns, meaning 6 over Leo Prime's 4. So that's 33% more fun in losing things! :michaelbay:

If I only had to pick up one: Black Zarak or Sky Lynx which would you recommend?

To get the FULL Black Zarack experience, you'll need Zarack, the DNA Design Upgrade kit, and the Select Black Rorichi.
It's mostly too late to get most of these unless you pay the premium eBay price.
Also, you said yourself that you may have not enough room for one more titan.

So, the best for you would be Commander Sky Lynx. He's freaking awesome and he's great enough on its own. Plus, the overall price will be much, much cheaper. He also pair very well with Omega Supreme.

Yea... That makes sense... If Bigbadtoystore had all the black zarak stuff in stock at their current prices I might be motivated to make room.

Any idea if SS86 Wheelie and/or Spike are worth picking up? My kiddo likes the add-in figures for the Dinobots [yes, I know it's technically Daniel]. O:-)

Both are not mind-blowing, but both are worthy companions for your Dinobots.

Roger. Thanks! Snapped them up. Hopefully they'll hold up to kiddo's abuse.

I read that Sky Lynx's wings fall off easily - was that an isolated incident? Sorry, I'm an indecisive over-analyzer.

First time I've ever heard about that.
But if they do pop off when you bend them the wrong way, they should pop back in as easily.

Found it: It's actually a video review on Amazon that points out Sky Lynx's wings as problematic.

Curious: is Legacy Elita-1 any good [or more durable than generations Arcee]? Looking for a female robot to built out a representation of the fam.

If it's only ONE Amazon review that said it, just dismiss it. The reviewer either landed on a rare lemon, or he just don't know how the thing work.

As for Legacy Elita-1 (and also Minerva) the whole mold is TOTAL GARBAGE. The transformation is not good, the bot look just okay and the vehicle is a CLOWN CAR with gaps everywhere.
However, Legacy RiD Strongarm, who have the same mold as a basis, fix all the previous ones problems. The vehicle is nice, the bot is nice, and the transformation is not as finicky.

Also, I would highly recommend for you to get the 3 Amazon exclusive pre-war sets.

https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Evo ... ip&sr=1-12

https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Evo ... ip&sr=1-24

https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Evo ... ip&sr=1-32

Most if not all of these are excellent and it's pretty cool to have an example of Cybertron's far past. Also, I predict once sold out, these sets will cost a premium. So get them while you still can.

Thanks!

Been really tempted to pick up that Orion pax set... Especially since there's toyhax and nonnef upgrades.

Okay, I'll skip the Elita-1. I would still like a rock solid female transformer if you have one in mind that you'd recommend. I heard the Legacy Arcee mold was blah... Was that ever fixed with Flamewar?

The Legacy Prime Arcee mold is total trash. That also mean all its repaints.

The SS Bee Movie Arcee mold is fantastic so you should consider the senators guards 2 pack. Or even the SS Bee Movie Arcee herself. She will fit well in a WFC display.

You should also consider the Miner Megatron and Senator Ratbat set. Especially if you love pimping your things with Toyhax Reprolabels. with the upgrades, Megs is gritty and Ratbat is ROYAL.

Which Gen Arcee? The old T-30, the Kingdom, or the hybrid of both, SS86 Arcee?

Regardless, if you're not a G1 nut, the deluxe SS Bee Arcee is the best Arcee yet.

If you have some bare minimum skills at customising toys, Swapping the head with a "G1" Arcee should be easy enough. But you'll have to find the right head so that everything fit, and that, I can't help you with.

I have her and I adore her. She got the same flaw as the Ark, meaning two panels that are too easy to pop off. Plus you have to make sure that you pull out the hands the right way or things get stuck. Otherwise, she got a solid bot mode and the spaceship mode steal the show.

If you have the Ark, you must get his girlfriend/rival, the Nemesis!

But you can allow yourself to wait a bit. I'm sure that a sale will happen sooner or later, and the stocks will remain full for a while.

Thanks! I'd probably only pick her up on sale. I've got a spare free-floating shelf that I could probably fit her on, vertically, in ship mode. Any word on a DNA kit for her?

Anyway, I've got the following queued up based on our conversation:

Sky Lynx
SS86 Brawn
SS86 Perceptor
T30 Arcee

No DNA Kit for Nemesis announced so far. But I bet there will be the usual suspects like better hands and filler pieces. Not that there's much hollows to fill in. Still, maybe they will give her a proper fembot head. The Reprolabels set does a fantastic job to do that regardless.

Also, T30 Arcee may be good, but you should consider the readily available SS86 Arcee. That's the T30 mold modified to have a more compact backpack.

Yea... I kinda wish the Nemesis looked a little more feminine... in a non-pervy way. She looks kinda disproportionate and more like some sort of skeleton monster IMHO. I guess they're going for that eeevvviiillll look.

The SS86 Arcee looks cheaper quality-wise than the T30, plus I like the way the T30 incorporates more bot into the vehicle instead of her being a purely shelf-former. Neither one is really perfect... I do like the black on the T30... Almost tempted to just get the masterpiece version, but she's too tall to scale properly with my War for Cybertron figures. Bigbadtoystore still has T30 in stock for cheap.

Getting off topic, but...

You don't have any fixes for the loose elbows on CW/UW Devastator's combined mode?

Also, thinking of reading some Transformers lore/fiction... Looks like IDW's series are, unfortunately, not available at this time any recommendations?

Thanks again for all the advice!

I can't help with the comics. I have zero interests despite loving the designs.

As for fixing any loose joints, try thayghthgtheiyng up the screws or use some Kiki:
