I've been wondering the same, unless they think MPG Raiden needs all the publicity. Another less plausible theory could be that this prototype is all that's left now and they have scrapped it/started over

nice looking bot mode although too many panels showing and nice looking vehicle mode
but seems over engineered and overly complicated
they use cartoon accurate vehicle designs for crying out loud they could have simplified the transformation
without the panels hanging out and still have a decent robot mode
