).
The combined mode isn't that impressive and reminds me a lot of Grimstone and the Dinobots, but I'll still get them, but will likely keep them all in beast mode.
Hasbro forgot what paint is? Don't you mean Takara with their Arms Micron (and I love AM)
but yea, odds are these legion figures will be very close to the size of G1
Nope, I meant what I said. Takara did the AM line the way they did to appeal to young Japanese children (who apparently enjoy model kits and applying stickers) unlike Hasbro who simply can't be bothered to paint most of the details on their figures in any line these days (including Prime).

Wow, that was some kinda rant.
My favorite part is "if you take everything I said as it was written then your missing the entire point!!"
Two exclamation marks makes it sound very over bearing, and very very whiny. Also, someone get this guy a few years of past threads to read through, maybe brush up on what he thinks he's talking about. Always a new guy willing to tell everyone else how it is, then when someone calls him on it they spew more garbage from what they think they know of the fandom and of Hasbro themselves.
Idiot rants like that are why I seldom post here anymore.

I like them! The combined mode is truly an abomination though. So crappy.
But might buy these and keep them in beast mode as a team display much like i do my G1 Terrorcons. These will NEVER be combined though.
I'm very impressed that Hasbro made an Abominus. A proverbial tip of the hat too them in respect for that alone.
It's the least i can do since i no longer open my wallet to them.

I like it... but unfortunately that's it. Like. I really wish they made Hunn-Gurr a Commander class. It would help with Abominus's proportions a lot. The individual modes are really good, though so that is a plus. Will most likely pick these guys up when I see them.

Looks promising. But I agree that this is only a start. Hasbro's got a long way to go with U.S. releases. Takara at least has a lively Masterpiece line and other random experiments in more interesting stuff like Device Label (just picked up Blaster since I needed some extra USB ports anyway).
But Hasbro hasn't given us much to really get excited about for a while now--mainly just the new MP Prime that actually came with the trailer as in Japan. Most of the TF Prime stuff is lame and low-quality--only toys I'm happy with so far are Deluxe Vehicon and Soundwave. The Voyagers are horrible. Not too excited about the FOC stuff either.
Anyway, other than this, pretty much everything on my buy list right now is third-party right. Weird considering I would never touch the stuff a couple years ago.

Cyberverse has two sub-classes: Legion and Commander.
Legion is roughly Legend size, whereas Commander is almost Scout size.
So... yes.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks for the clarification, I didn't want to ruffle any feathers with my mini rant there (especially since I actually like this new Cyberverse set and will be picking them up, and likely any repaints released as well).
All the arguing etc. aside, I think it's cool and makes sense from a budget standpoint for Hasbro to do Cyberverse combiners. It allows them to make these slightly more complex toys in a more reasonable and budget friendly size. It also seems that with Cyberverse in general these days (the upcoming Beast Hunters Prime for example) that they often have more paint apps and details than their larger versions. Normally I like the larger toys, however they've been doing a lot with these little guys lately that has me paying attention, and spending a bit of money (and since they're so cheap, it doesn't hurt the wallet as much as buying the larger figures which is also nice).
Anyway, I hope Hasbro keeps it up with the combiners in the Cyberverse line. I think it's an excellent combination and I hope we see more as the TF:Prime line progresses.

So... yes.
Commanders tend to be about the same size as Rotf Beachcomber and Deadlift, heightwise, albeit with a touch less mass.

I must admit, one thing I actually find quite odd is the complaint about the lack of hands. On an ordinary Transformer, then I can understand it, as they are metallic mechanical organisms. Combined modes, on the other hand, are "manufactured" by Transformers. They aren't a natural state, and aren't even separate entities, they are designed entirely for war. They don't need to use hands for day-to-day activities that a normal Transformer would need them for (crafting objects, opening doors, operating machinery, whatever Transformers do to feed, etc) and would only be given whatever appendage is most useful for destruction. After all, when Shockwave or Perceptor is reconfiguring Transformers into a combiner team, why would they go through the extra hassle of engineering a fully functioning hand to hold a sword or cannon that also has to be factored in, when they could simply make the sword or cannon part of the arms?

So... yes.
I was under the impression these were all Commander class since Twinstrike (the one we've seen) is Commander.

Logically, yes. However, we humans like our robots humanized. That means 'hands'.
Personally, I'm psyched enough not to give a hoo-hah.

The prices aren't entirely their fault. It's retail.
Umm, Wrong they can control their prices, they SET their prices, they are a business thats what they do. Why wouldnt they be able too? I know ALL about retail, and How it works. Example: Trying to tell me putting out a new Brawl with a new paint app and selling it to Asian buyers for over double what they already sold the original mold for just 4 years prior is NOT being forced to sell at that steep of a price. Im starting to think You do not understand either?
I am just disappointed is all, and not trying to "argue" with forum nazi's all damn day about being EXACT or precise about every thing I type.
Forum Nazi's?
Yes, you yourself are a prime example, trying to break apart everything I say to look cool or whatever it is that makes you post over 4000 times on a forum? And trying to ACT or make yourself look better?, cooler? by either asking stupid questions or by trying to answer a question I did Not ask you.
So yea, I want them to pay attention to ALL of us collectors just a tad bit more.
That may be what you want, but Hasbro works to sell toys for
kids, not adults. I think you might have trouble comprehending that.
You are just as wrong as the first smartass was. I think YOU have the "trouble comprehending" what I am saying since your too busy rushing to aid your buddy from my first post!! Sure they make them for kids, EVERYBODY GETS that, why try acting "smart" or "cool" by telling me and anybody else reading something we all already SHOULD know? They however do NOT make MP toys or any of the high end collectible toys for kids because those "kids" cannot afford them and the typical parent will not buy them either. Of course you either didn't read everything I said or you just dont understand the concept of what I am saying to you and EVERYBODY like you? You are rushing to Hasbro's aid so fast and trying to make me look bad for simply raising valid arguments. Now if you enjoy EVERYTHING they put out and the prices of which they are charging for these products well then by all means keep it up! But if Hasbro keeps losing its customer base to other superior toys you might see Hasbro DROP Transformers stateside altogether. Its happened before and I was collecting them then too. Havent you noticed the things I've pointed out over the last 4 years?
