My biggest thing is his size; definitely should've been a Voyager, even if they had kept the simpler engineering. Beyond that, he's better than I thought he'd be. I was also pleased to see that his wrist-mounted sawblades were capable of spinning.
I also just got back from Target with a Tankor, and I agree with you. He's better than I'd expected, and I was initially going to pass on him. But, to the dismay of so many around Seibertron, I absolutely love Beast Machines as a series, so I caved and got him, probably in the hopes that they make a Thrust and Jetstorm eventually, and also partly out of disappointment that I didn't find Crosscut. I'd thought Tankor's sawblades would come out of his wrists, or that the claws would fold back and the blades would move forward, but they don't.

He's actually pretty neat, and he sure is bigger than he looks in the pictures. At least I think he looks scrawny in the photos of him.

Totally unrelated, so sue me: exactly nine months from today, I will be getting married.
grats on the coming vows!

tankor.... i approached with no expectations. i wasnt wowed or let down, i dont love or hate him. what would make me love him, is for a third party to make a new cannon for him with a key to vector sigma. which for a troop builder figure should be a no brainer, id easily buy three.

Welp, wife has gone back to her original Nail Salon (under new ownership, namely the girls who've always done her nails) in The Hague, which means shopping time! I'm kind of out of it, but its still impressive:

Construct-Bots Scout Bumblebee
Construct-Bots Elite Optimus Prime
Construct-Bots Elite Autbot Hound

Each priced down to a mere €8 a pop at Intertoys, and Bumblebee, like Thundercracker earier, I got at Blockker. I also saw the Optimus Prime vs. Megatron 2-pack at anther store, but at full price (€50!). I said to that O hell no. =;

You'll love that Hound for sure!
Also, that BB headsulpt... I know it's an hommage to the G1 toy, but still... That bee will throw a grenade, kill 50 cons, then the grenade explode!

And now for something completely different. The Great Delivery has finally arrived! After 3 whole months! This came courtesy of the wonderful Amelie aka AnnaChristine aka the source of Va'al's RiD Smokejumper:

100% Complete Car Robots D-012 Black Convoy

And also inside was a little freebie for my Birthday:

Robots in Disguise Heavy Load

A really really late present, due to circumstances beyond her control. But she kept me well-informed and that's what matters. I still feel bad for breathing in her neck tough, but I'll take that as karma for waiting for so long with payment

Even though I'm about to move out in a new appartment, I still cant resist some silly impulse buys.

Got the oversized Flipchange Lockdown (25$tx) and the Exclusive Grimlock/Optimus Silver Knmight 2 pack (15$tx) at Target.

This lockdown is the closest thing you can get to a Leader Class Lockdown. The bot mode is decent enough, his arms are posable. His true fault is the legs are too thin from the side due to the automorph gimmick. The vehicle mode is great, save for the "side view mirros" made of 2 bright blue hinges. 25$tx is a bit expensive for him but it's still leader sized, fun, and nice looking in both mode for what it is.

The Construcbot set will remain sealed for now. Man, I'll do a private Construcbot party with so many bought lately!

Picked up a ROTF Devastator..the real big one, at the local Goodwill today.
Also ROTF Leader Jetfire(for under $5, what!), although he's missing his front landing gear/cane and a small jet panel. But, the electronics work.
Also some other random figs, all missing pieces.
Altogether they were under twenty dollars :)

There was another bag of bots that I left there(Voyager Ratchet,Barricade..), all ROTF, marked at like $7(why didn't I buy it...?).
I went back later, but they were gone, but I knew they would be.

As a resident of The Hague I must insist that toy shopping in my city sucks so bad. But thank you for finally ridding the toyshelves of some of those Constructbots.

You forgot cheap. I'm cheap.
Wait. Did I just say that? ~looks up~ Yes.. yes, I did.

I'm currently eyeing up a pre-order for Generations Arcee if that counts as a Toy Haul. She'll go in my G1 display. Much as I HAVE a G1 display anymore

40$ each, or 40$ total? If it's total, nice score! Where did you find those? Surely not online. Kijiji?

The total cost was 40$. I dont need to wait for the evac 2 pack anymore (though I might pick it up if ever its on clearance). And it was Kijiji. At first the guy wanted 30$ for each, so I said I would just buy Lugnut (its a fair price, and beats any online price) and I gave him 2 twenty dollar bills. Since he couldnt find change he told me I could have Grappel as well. If you are interested, he is selling a complete Shadow command megatron for 150$.

Is it your favourite mold? And if so, why do you like it best. I am asking since I don't own any version of that mold so far. I guess you will be getting that TRU exclusive evolution 2 pack, which is how I will get my first version of that mold.

Sky-Byte and Roadbuster. (I caved on the latter, because it was $25.00...SHIPPED. Can't beat that, it's a crazy cheap price and I have a plastic need. My addiction hasn't been met. NEED.)

Just waiting on the rest of September's releases... Please ship soon. Please?!
