Nope ... but that's one of my favorite Toys R Us stores to visit because of the old school 1980s look and feel to the store. I stop by on my way back to Chicago from visiting my family in the Grand Black, Mackinac City or Ann Arbor areas. I'm originally from the Flint, Michigan area ... grew up in Fenton, MI. Lived in the Grand Rapids area from 98 to '02 before moving to Chicago.

huh. That store sounds intriguing. I remember when my toysRus opened up in 1985. It was great. My mother actually had a job there. I got to meet Geoffrey. Turns out it wasn't really him.

I found these at the TRU in Winston-Salem, NC. I got the Grimlock one. I already had the regular Optimus which is the same figure as the Electronic one minus all the new parts and the Light-Up axe arm.

Pretty sure I seen this at the TRU in gurnee mills
today. Same area,kind of.
I thought about getting it, but names it Strafe
on the package, not Swoop. But it looks like Swoop..
That bugged me. I put it down and walked on.
I was really on the lookout for Gen Cosmos
and Swerve anyway.

I might have to get Strafe just so I can put his head on Optimus like in the box art.

I don't much care for transformers that can't transform, but that is hilarious.

Anyone picked these things up yet? General thoughts, some of them look pretty cool and aside from the basic fact that they dont transform I kind of want to pick a few of them up. Was curious on the quality side of things how the joints are and the snap and disconnect parts. Do they feel cheap or durable?

I've got a couple of these, since they're basically new school action masters. The quality is fine but the sculpting is very play-doughy. Will probably pick up the Dinobots and be done with these.

I was thinking just that collecting the dino bots, because they look pretty cool and then leaving the rest. Maybe Prime and Megatron. If they do a deluxe starscream with actual guns on the side I would be interested in him as well.

Awesome. Now Transformers are even below the 'one-step' gimmick and consist of no steps. And! Even cooler! We can assemble them ourselves. The fun is in misassembling them. Hurray.
