Ratchet looks really good, but Kup and Perceptor look too much like the versions i already have for me to get excited for this set

LOL with the exception of Kup, the other two are a medic and a scientist respectively. It's like calling Pauly Shore and Arnold Schwarzenegger "Oscar Winners".

Damn we need a new ratchet/ironhide mold.

Love the Kup and Perceptor. Ratchet I neither like nor dislike.

I don't even collect TF toys but I really wish I had that Ratchet.

Kup looks like a shiny version of toy-accurate with a cartoon-colored helmet.

Are Kup and Perceptor different than the original Henkei versions?

I don't know about Kup, but Perceptor has chrome which the United version lacked.

Kup has more shininess, more Autobot sigils, gray in robot mode, and a light blue face.

Perceptor looks nice - finally a shiny paint job AND chrome.

Kup looks very coherent. I have an iGear head just waiting to replace his grandpa face.

Ratchet looks nice. The mold is in sore need of an update. I may need to use Prime Ratchet as Ratchet. Hmm.

I'll wait for this to go on sale for $90-$100, like all the other 3-packs have, before committing.

Perceptor looks great. United colors and actual Autobot Tampograph (not a rub sign), RtS chrome accents, clear colorless plastic (and blue eyes?). Best version, IMO.

Kup looks more screen accurate with the grey legs and such, at least depending on which animation model you're talking about (movie versus most of Season 3).

Ratchet is better than the Hasbro Universe release, but not as good as the Henkei release. I was hoping this one wouldn't have chrome, but shiny silver paint instead. It's basically the Henkei version with added red paint, which detracts from both alt mode and robot mode accuracy of the original toy and the original animation model.

If I get this set, Perceptor and Kup are keepers, Ratchet may get sold off. I already have Henkei Ratchet. Kup may need a head swap too. I'm not too sure about this light blue face that Sabreblade is reporting. Like with Hound with yellow eyes, Hasbro Asia almost hits it out of the park except for one weird design decision.

By the way, wouldn't it have made a world more sense to have swapped Kup with Mirage or Hound from the Autobot Specialists set? Perceptor, Ratchet, and either Mirage or Hound make a much more coherent team of "Specialists", and Ironhide, Kup, and Hound (or arguably Mirage) make a much more believable team of "Warriors." Weird, Hasbro. Weird.

Could just be the lighting in the pics. These aren't Ryan-quality, after all. ;)

Looks like it might be very faintly blue-tinged gray, which I find acceptable. Really, looking at the rest of that figure, I can't say no to that face. ;) I hope a few more of these sets come our way. They've been (mostly) knocking it out of the park so far.

I don't see any robot parts at the fringes, so I imagine there isn't a second, corresponding set this is meant to display with.
