I had Beast Combiner Optimus Prime and Lionizer in hand today at Target. Right before I was going to check out I noticed some angelic Cherub had pulled off Lionizer's head and it was lost. I had no time to find an employee to see if they had another one in the back or inform them of the vandalism. This will probably be the ONLY time I'll see the figure and the only way I'd be able to get it at US retail.

It's available at Canadian Amazon but I dunno if you'll be able to import it.

I found Battletrap at a Ross! Super glad to have him, this mold is fun, and looks good in orange. And it also means I finally have the big 3 Terrorcons in mainline form, which look especially good in alt mode.

Also, have some Birdgun

also also, Mainline Prime looks great with the Axe. Mainline prime is still far and away the superior toy

So, I somehow completely missed this, but I found this Funko RotB Prime with a T-shirt at Target. I got it because they had my size. The shirt is actually pretty cute, and Prime will be a nice little addition to my small novelty funko shelf

I finally got the big Takara Primal, and he is really neat. THIS is the Primal toy we really needed. I love this thing. He is very much a fun toy, and I love both the size and the stuff he can do. He is still pretty simple, but that is not a bad thing, he's good and fun!

He is awesome but there's one glaring flaw. That neck-head panel for bot mode is ultra tight. So tight that I didn't know the thing moved so I couldn't properly get to the gorilla mode. After a video, I learned how the thing worked. But that panel is relatively thin and you must FORCE-SNAP it in place. That's a scary step.

Appart that, this leader FELLS and have the SIZE of a "real" leader. Nice.

Prime is my favorite of the Beast Combiners. His above average articulation for the line and multi-step transformation is a nice change, plus both figures look really good. But my overall favorite is Scourge. He's a little too brown as a stand alone bot, but his alt mode is nice, the scorpion is really nice, and the combined mode blends together into a really cool looking monstrous figure. Scourge reminds me of those Beast Wars concepts that never happened. Trying to find some pics to compare to it, but the searches are being bogged down by movie stuff and the upcoming SS Megatron figure. #-o

The Optimus himself is very, very good. Add that white lion who is a direct reference to the Japanese Beast Wars series and you get something GOLDEN.

Now, if only I could find the Airraizor targetmaster in stores...

No, they have not been released individually in the US. They did land in ports and were sent to Target, but Target never stocked them in stores.

Do we know why or is it just one of those mysteries of collecting?

FYI, still a mystery

And surprisingly didn't show up at liquidators like I'm sure a lot of people expected (I know I did). I still want that Airrazor. Did the second three pack ever show up at Target? I only ever saw the first one.

It did, just not in high numbers. If the figures were going to show up at liquidation stores it might happen closer to the spring.

My guess is that second 3 pack will never happen. But like for the small Airrazor gun-shield, I bet that if I import the remaining individual mainline deluxes from Amazon.JP, with high shipping fees, Murphy will make them available at Amazon.CA some weeks later just to spite me.

Found the 3-pack in stores, I managed to see every RotB mainline toy at retail eventually.

Individual releases, not sure what happened.

March 2024 and they decide to feature those awful ROTB walkie-talkies. It's a step in the right direction, but just put those stupid things on clearance instead. And yes, that's the only Transformers thing in the sale.

Just a reminder, no matter how expensive or ridiculous a Transformers product may seem, somebody will buy it. More than half of those full color ROTB brass statues have sold out on BBTS including the $6,600 3 and a half foot tall statue of Optimus Prime.

Understandable.
Not only they do look neat, but they are FULL METAL. 8-)

If I'd had the money and I lived in a large mansion, I'd buy one or two myself.
