*Had to edit as I uploaded Tarn's pix from my phone instead of scraphook*

Went to one of my targets this morn and to my surprise they had 2 lone scraphooks on the pegs. When I brought it to the price scanner it showed unavailable. I had my friend Richard who works there scan it with his scanner and it showed the same thing. Then I tried the app and target.com and nothing. I saw a few reports on reddit and FB about issues at other targets. The people at target think it is a internal error.

The reddit post is at the bottom with my pix from target up top.

Yeah while there is no official release date,it's obvious that Individual retailers do have some sort of dates, unfortunately only those" required to know" have that privileged Information.

I can only guess it is probably 2/1 or somewhere thereabouts. Some will take a similar priced item to check out and scan that in lieu of it. Some say that messes with the store inventory, but retail store inventory hasn't been accurate in years. I scanned a bag of M&Ms at Target and got a "not in stock" result. , so I've learned that if this occurs not to give up. Do anything you can to purchase the item, but don't leave without it.

No, when the release date hasn't been passed, the scanner works just fine, it is the register where you get rejected. At least that's how it went whenever the last time I found something ahead of a known street date.

I thnik this might a case of the items not being activated somewhere in their system. When the voyagers and deluxes were first found in stores, Leo Prime was the only one to have a Listing on Target.com. He still is the only one for Evolution. For Tarn this has already been fixed. I lucked out and found Tarn yesterday on a newly placed peg for generations voyagers that said $29.99. And sure enough he scanned on their scanner at the same price and at the self checkout on the way out.

I was talking about check out as well, with regard to the transformer toy. The candy example was just to show that their inventory isn't accurate, so don't worry about scanning another transformers toy item at checkout with the same price so you can still purchase the one that won't scan at checkout.
