I dunno if that thread exist somewhere buried deep inside the toys forum, but if it does, it may be too old. So why not start a fresh one?

Let's show some love of the years that started it all, G1! G1 seems huge, but it "only" lasted around a decade.

So, let's share some G1 goodness of our collections! Weird repaints and reissues that were made outside of the G1 years are also allowed. As long that the main mold is directly a G1 toy.

I'll begin by sharing something that I never thought I'd ever buy, G1 Metroplex. I finally managed to get one that is 100% complete, minus the 3rd missile. He's quite big for the time . Sure, he follow the rule of having many parts and accessories that are too easy to lose. I don't like the fact that Scamper have partsforming arms for absolutely no good reasons. But I adore SixGun's design. For SixGun, I have no glue what to do with his torso and chest when Metroplex is in bot mode so I improvised a vehicle of some sort.

I really wonder why Metroplex have 4 combiner ports. Appart making some vehicles "fly", I dont get their purpose. Also, the waist rotation was SCARY to use. I had to force it. But everything ended up just fine.

I love all of his 3 modes. And unlike the failed Generations Titan, the vehicle does not look too much like a sit bot and the base mode really does look like a base.
