Happened across a Takara reissue God Ginrai at Vintage Stock (2nd hand comics, movies, games, action figures). After applying some store credit from trading in a bunch of movies, I walked out with God Ginrai for $86. It was totally unexpected, but truly awesome!

Went into town for some Lego blind bags and came back with PRiD Hotshot and Vehicon and P:CV Vehicon (makes 12 now) and Soundwave (going with the movie toys I think). And some Legos. Damn my overspending.

Where did you find Steve?!

EDIT: Never mind, saw your post in the UK Sightings thread.
Also, wrong thread for the rest of the post. But I saw Cyberverse Ultra Magnus.

First UK sighting of Magnus that I'm aware of. Also the newsagent that I picked up the wave 3s from gets their toy stock through Toymaster if that's any help.

edit - Went down to the car boot sale today and as well as some Doctor Who figures, Mini Boglins, Gormiti and Corinthian Ben 10 minis managed to snag a few TF pieces. Nothing major but RotF legends Optimus, Robot Heroes Ironhide (I think the RotF version, will have to double check) and a junker Cybertron legends Megatron to swap out parts with a broken tab on my first one added to the tally. Grand total for the TF part of today's haul: £0.50.

C.O.N.S. Haul! Looking back, had a great time in Germany with the misses, she definitely would like to go back for a real vacation. My acquisitions may seem random, but that's part of the fun ;)

Wife's buys

To summarize, in case the pics don't show up:

Power Rangers Samurai Megazord (late anniversary gift from a friend)
United UN-07 Bumblebee (1 of 2 held by same friend)

Henkei C-05 Hot Rodimus (2 of 2 held by same friend)
Arms Micron Gacha Gob 1 & Gob 2
Beast Wars Air Hammer
Prime First Edition Shining Optimus Prime
Armada Super-Con Optimus Prime with Over-Run
Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime
(Missing his key, don't care. I think it's a cheat anyway)
Beast Machines Deluxe Optimus Primal
G1 Quickswitch
(missing his guns, kitbasher freebee.)

Opticat plushie (she named her "Kittimus Prime". Yes, "her", look at those hips!)
KO Sports Label Optimus Prime (we all found out it was a KO after the fact. Seems to be an undocumented one, detailed pics upon request ;))

Had to sacrifice an item I was looking for however, Arms Micron AM-01 Optimus Prime with that bonus Firebolt. O well, I'm sure I'll be seeing that one again. :)

I recently got a PRID Vehicon. It's real nice to futz with and looks very cool, but I can't understand why people are army building them. I know, they're an army in the show, yes, yes yes. I just don't get the value of doing it though. Take in mind though, I have a huge amount of Star WArs clone troopers, and absolutely stand by their all being different because they have slight color differences on their armor.

1. Army Building is fun
2. They're an army in the show, as you stated.
3. How would you like to rub in the faces of your fellow TF Fans you have 3 of the rarest figures in Wave 3 :D
4. If you don't want your "extra" Vehicons, you can sell them, of course. :ic$:
5. Set them up as a "Transformation Sequence" for the Vehicon.

Got cyclops, holy crap this is huge... I know he was going to be huge but this is insane! Taller than MP Starscream. The figure's great, although it lacks articulation in the arm. But still. It's Shockwave, in steampunk. :D

Finally!

RotF Skids and Mudflap!
One I got from a trade, the other I got cheap on 4chan /toy/'s BST, along with the big-ass Leader Class Air Attack Optimus Primal!

I made the "Shattered Glass" version of Optimus Primal so having the "good guy" original was a must.

Also, Herp cannot be without Derp so that's awesome to finally have them both together.

Oh my god, Breakdown looks terrific. I saw a review of him that was just glowing, but man does he look fabulous.

Aside, I got FoC Shockwave. He is very, very purple. My girlfriends' favorite color is purple, and even she remarked at how purple he is. He makes me think of Prince.
He's a very nice robot, but his alt mode is lame. Package says he's some kind of mobile artillery, and it makes more sense as a description than a space ship of some type, which is what I thought he was. But vehicle mode really is a throw away. At least with some of the 'bots that turn into actual vehicles with wings and/or wheels they're just heavily stylized cars and planes, but this thing is movieverse-level random vehicular mode.
And he is noticably small. Just a quick comparison, he looks about a head shorter than PRID Vehicon, and maybe a smidge shorter than PRID Wheeljack. Trying to say these figures aren't smaller and visibly so than deluxes past is just silly. I'm not at all trying to argue here, I'm simply stating.
Regardless, he's a nice looking robot, and I'm glad I bought him.

Yesterday I finally got my :G2BOT: G2 Optimus Prime :G2BOT: !
The real one. Not the RtS.

I bought it 100% complete with box and all the little bits, even the unnaplied sticker sheet for just 63$ + shipping! Granted, the box was open and the toy was a little dusty, but everything is in perfect condition.

So, I did what any sane person would do: Apply the stickers and play with the bastard!

I'm amazed how well that OP is well articulated. The tanker traler change into the best base ever with all those missile launchers that go PEW PEW PEW! Also, the latest line with it's light gimmick is just a pale immitation of the original G2 goodness that is G2 OP.

My only tiny gripes is the lack of any :G2BOT: symbols anywhere on the toy and the stupidity of having "OPTIMUS PRIME" spelled on OP's chest.

I wonder why it took this long for me to buy it. This toy is overall awesome and is a must for any Optimus Prime fans. He now stand proudly on the "old generations" spot in my collection.

Got a pretty sweet ass haul today.

I went to Winners as a last desperate stop for toy hunting. I learned from the net that Winners was not just a women's clothing store so I tried my luck.

MAN, WHAT A HAUL!

The most amazing is not only the prices are ALL clearance level prices (not ultra premium lets-add-50%-more-to-the-already-expensive-cost-for-the-hell-of-it prices like Zellers or Rossy) they have some toys that are not normally found in Québec because English only. Like the ULTIMATE GIFT SET of DotM Cyberverse figure (20$!) and that cute MLP FiM book that come with succion cup ponies you can stick around in the book. (Yeah, I'm a bronie. Deal with it.)

Also, see these scout class Star Wars X-Overs? 6$ each instead of the usual mind-bending 12-15$ I've seen everywhere. Toxic Viper will ride my soon to come Animated Oilslick an that other cool Joe will ride my soon to come Animated Prowl.

Also, at 20$, I finally decided to get that neat Stealth force Bumblebee with all of his electronics. Amazingly, this thing is worth 40-50$ on Ebay right now.

By the way, I have one Power Core Combiners Heavytread for trade. :3

Image

Fresh from Ebay came Machine War Starscream, mint in sealed box. Only 35$ (+ship). I was the only bidder. I will keep this one sealed because I can enjoy the mold with my Universe King Atlas. I wonder why "Starscream"? Could have been called "Skywarp" instead.

Image

From the same seller came Beast Machine Ultra Jetstorm. It came 100% complete in open box for just 25$(+ship). Unfortunately, his metalic paint flake horribly. I'm sure there's a way to fix that. I find very fun that his shark-missile's and the jet's "heads" can move around like in the show.

Image

Beside. "Ultra class"? Bullshit. That thing is a freacking LEADER CLASS.
No, seriously. **** is GLORIOUS.

FOC Jazz.

Very, very disappointing.

Very thin plastic, no heft, hardly any metal used in the construction*, small. He is nothing but hinges and tabs and slots and those tabs are super thin. If they ever break, he's ruined. Useless. And after hearing how tabs have broken on SDCC Bruticus, I fear the entire FOC line is doomed.

On the plus side, the paint apps are fantastic.

*= By metal, I mean screws and pins. Outside of two (I think?) pins and a handful of screws, the rest of him is literally snapped together. Like a model kit. If that's not begging for breakage, I don't know what is. Seriously disappointed.
