big haul today! first up is a TFcon columpio! i admit it was a gamble to get him cause who knows if theyll retro up the other five, but oh man... hes so purdy. if they follow suit and give us all the variants ill have a real nice set of dinobots!

Image

Image

Image

next is an OTFCC sentinel maximus! one came up and the price was to good to ignore. just need the original apelinq and ive got all the apelinq/primal primes!

Image

lastly... ive been waiting months for... the BOTCON 2014 BOX SET! id say it was worth the wait, but im not buying from the funpub/hasbro site again since i coulda got it for the same price (or slightly cheaper) from ebay and not have to wait 2 months! but as for the figures, i love love loooovve them. ginrai cant go wrong but needs some xovergen love. devcon is the zoolander of my TF's now  . cannonball is better than i thought. ferak is second only to scorpy, because im in love with that mold. they could release a pink cyclonus and call it arcee, id still buy it. and scorpy... he'd be perfect if he could turn his head. other than that im over the moon. loved the energon scorpy mold before and its about time he got out in his proper colors!

That's why you buy another kit with lotsa extra accessories, like Optimus VS Megatron. Use the extra parts to fill in the blancs and have a better vehicle mode.

Yesterday I returned from business and Vacation to a magical haul!

--Micron Sea Team (Green set)
--Micron Sea Team (red and yellow set)
--Micron Race Team (Blue and White set)
--Calvin Johnson Purple Stealth Bomber Megatron ($10 on eBay - suck it scalpers!)
--AoE Breakout Set Rollbar (I love that colour scheme)
--Takara AoE Grimlock, Slug, and Scorn. They now have Decepticon symbols and are the starting of the Dinoforce
--Perfect Effect G2 Megatron upgrade kit. Due to a molding defect on the Megatron, the cannon will not mount on his shoulder :-x
--Generations Tankor and Rattrap
--Generations Tailgate
--KFC's Scalpel homage

Did you get him with the football?

Nope, which is probably why he cost $10. Which is fine by me.

Haha, nice. I have a good idea of where it came from and I like your style. I will be posting my own haul later today and you will notice that we may share a fellow aquaintance.

Back from Auto Assembly, and I bought silly amounts of stuff-- but only two toys were for myself! :D

Finally got round to MP-15 Ravage and Red One, thanks to the Kapow! Toys stall, and a gloriously Batman-esque Animated Voyager Elite Guard Optimus Prime.

ALSO - thanks to the amazing gentleman above, I finally have my Animated Lockdown. :x

All photos are in this here thread.

Nope, they are the real deal. Shipping was expensive so I thought I would stock up on some casettes if I got them for cheap (relatively speaking) and use them as trade fodder or sell locally to recoup my costs. I just posted them on my local classified adds and someone just offered me Cybertron Primus in amazing shape with all his keys and missiles.

Fun Haul. As I wrote above, I got to trade my extra soundwave casette 2-pack for Cybertron Primus.

That figure amazes me in it's ease to transform, phenominal design and sleekness for a planet. It deals really well with the kibble and i think it's a far better planet design than the curren Unicron mold if only for its better use of kibble.

I also got myself AOE Scorn, Prime Sergeant Kup (a very small deluxe), Prime Frenzy (great homage and he's bigger than Kup, HOW?!?!), Night Ops Ratchet, RTS Legends Starscream (awesome mold!), and Universe Threadbolt.

I have also been spending lots of aggravating yet also fun hours getting familiar with masterpiece Megs, and transforming him back and forth.

He's pretty badass!

So Toys "R" Us's Prowl came in last night, but I opened him this morning. Really cool box, really cool dude. Like everyone else says, he's not quite worth the seventy or so bucks they're asking, but personally, I'd practically pay for any reasonable price that they ask for for Masterpieces. The box, though cool, is really larger than it should be. When I opened him up this morning, there was a buttload of space. Only other issue I have is that the driver-side rear-view mirror seems to be warped just a tiny bit, but really, it's minuscule enough for me not to really whine about. I'm not one of those individuals that complains about the smallest things (example being a small amount of sprue scarring on the top of Masterpiece Soundwave's shoulder-mounted cannon).

Overall, I think he's cool. The price is questionable, but for me, I'm alright with paying an extra twenty bucks for a Masterpiece with very good quality.

I scored something that I never seen in stores before and may never see again either.

Construcbot Bulkhead and Unicron Megatron! At only 15$ each!

These sets look impressive. When I have the time, I'll build them.

Where was this? And was the 15$ a special price?

I got myself a few new minicons as well as some small RID transformers. I thought attaching them and scaling them next to my new Primus would be a fun way to display these new arrivals
