Thanks J.. I think that the Axalon and the Darksyde are also famous ships, as with the Beast Wars cartoon seires, we got a hefty exposure to the reality of how big a part those ships played in that series.. I especially love how the Nemesis fit into the whole equation..nice series and great space ships.. I think an axalon would be cool too, because we could pretend that the battle on the ground is because of their crash while posing our transformers.. but what about ravage's ship???

I'm in. I've always dreamed of making my own custom Ark & Nemesis, but I never got around to it. The thing that would be great about this is that it would be the only acurate Ark & Nemesis in existence. Let's face it, the Titanium Ark is really just the Movie Shuttle, not the real G1 Autobot base. Let's see where this goes...hopefully we get enough. I would recomend postiung this on other TF forums though, more than one would probably spark motivation for these guys.

Hello mech monkeys , i received a email today from Skywarp-2 and followed up on the invite.
Although RSS is swamped for now , i have been thinking about building both the ark and nemesis for some time. but since i have not keeped up with the shows since beast wars ( which rocked) i wasn't sure which design to follow. i like the ones shown here , but thought the Ark was diffrent. are there more than one version?
i'll keep this in mond and drop in from time to time and once my work table gets some room , i'll start them up . in the mean time , if you find any other pics it would help.

Those of us who have longed for a model of th eArk and Nemesis are very happy, i'm sure, i actually couldn't contain my excitement and had to go jump around and call some of my buddies to let them know!! they were thrilled too!!

Hello mech monkeys , i received a email today from Skywarp-2 and followed up on the invite.

actually there are some differences between the Ark from the Original G-1 TV show and the detachable Autobot shuttle as show cased int eh transformers Movie circa 1986
The Autobot shuttle is a multi-stage transport use by the Autobots around the 2005 era. Though they have a tendency to explode if you look at them wrong, the Autobot shuttles enjoy a good reputation due to their excellent safety rating. You can crash them, shoot them, set them on fire, blow them up, but the passengers will almost always walk away uninjured.

The Autobot shuttle can take off horizontally with the aid of retractable thrusters on its belly[1] that lift the ship on a ground-effect cushion before it can get up enough speed to generate lift. The shuttl uses anti-gravity pads[2] for landings. It can also be launched vertically with the aid of a gantry.

Autobot Shuttles are considered antiques by the Beast Era.

Autobot Shuttle Midsection:

The shuttle has a modular design similar to... I'm gonna say the STNG Enterprise. Adding modules on to the front section expands the shuttle's range and abilities. The addition of a small lifepod means it's possible to detonate 1/2, 3/4 or 4/4 of the ship and still survive.


Rear section:
The rear section of the Autobot shuttle contains the Main Stellar Drive for interstellar travel as well as the main propellant engines.

The 'conning tower' of the rear section contains a secondary navigation center.

The rear section also houses a cargo hold.


Forward section

An Autobot Transport Gunship forms the foremost module of the shuttle.

This section's function is to keep the occupants alive in a tight situation, it excels at short-range space combat, but is not designed for traveling interstellar distances.


Out pops a surprise!The Gunship is armed with three cannons on the lower surface, and the 'wings' on either size can house a variety of armaments, such as pop-out guns or sonic warheads.




But that's the Autobot Shuttle, and not the Ark.. if your to do a scale comparison I'd say the ark was like a Star Destroyer from Star Wars and the Shuttle was a rebel blockade runner.. like what Lea was on when Darth vader attacked int he beginning..Likewise the Nemesis is pretty big as well...

the Autobot Ark:

now this is the ship we are wanting to be created, and the one which has never seen the light of day in any type of medium what so ever.. it's the ship that started it all..
The Ark is the name given to the Autobot spaceship that, in most versions of the Generation 1 story, originally carried the Autobot and Decepticon armies to Earth.

The Ark is a Vanguard-class Deep Space Interceptor. It has 5 Decks and houses a full crew complement of 300 Transformers. (Although it can be flown by only a handful if necessary.) Its environment is fully-automated and self-sufficient. For engines it features 4 Hyperfuel Intake Accelerators.

It is armed with 16 particle-combustion canons (port), 16 laser emitters (starboard), a primary starfield missile launcher, and an Overshock sonic battery.

The Autobot ship in the G1 cartoon is never actually named. Fans have generally called it The Ark however, borrowing the name from its Comic counterpart.

The cartoon version of the ship tends to have a more rounded ovoid look to it and is a goldish-yellow color. It has a main computer designated Teletraan I.

Other Vanguard-class ships, pretty much identical to the Ark, are seen taking refugees from Cybertron on a history tape in Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 2. It is suspected that the settlers of known Autobot colonies such as Junkion were among these.


The Ark was launched under the command of Optimus Prime to search for fuel but ran afoul of two colliding asteroids. Then the Decepticon ship attacked, and the Decepticons under Megatron boarded it. Out of control, the Ark crashed to Earth, smashing into a volcano in what would eventually become a desert. The exact location is unknown, but closely resembled the American southwest. There it rested until a volcanic eruption four million years later reactivated it and its inhabitants MTMTE1








I sincerely hope this helps in your construction of the Ark models.. when your able to that is.. I know your busy, but we here are all glad that your interested and look forward to your work.. there are a plethore of ships int eh transformers Universe.. not just the Ark and Nemesis or the Axalon and Darksyde from beast wars..

I've never heard of these guys but those Trek ships are great.....I really like the Nebular Class Starship I say these guys should start making TF stuff as soon as possible.

I would definitely buy a nicely detailed larger scale version of the Ark. I would love to see it produced.
