New CGI Video of G1 Megatron vs Prime on Official TF Universe Site

Not only is the
Official Transformers Universe website online with
previews of the entire first wave of Universe figures, but they've also posted a video of G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron facing off as they did more than twenty years ago in the original Transformers Movie.
Transformers Universe is a new "World of Transformers" segment that celebrates the nearly 25-year heritage of the Brand.
This site will be updated with all the latest info on the new Transformers Universe segment including early-stage toy images, product photography and character bio information on Transformers Universe including the Classic Series and Robot Heroes. Be sure to check back regularly for all the latest Transformers Universe news.

Dude that was freakin sweet man. The next TF series need to look like that. There needs to be a universe series. All done in CGI like that clip.

awesome, i enjoyed that fight better than the bayfilm! at 32 seconds prime seems to do a street fighter II dragon punch!!

Terrific, I mean, just terrific. Megatron's helmet was a little too round for my tastes, but still, this is a very good representation of the duo's greatest battle in G1 history. You know what would be absolutely amazing though, if the entire movie was updated like this. Am I wrong?

OH PRIMUS THAT WAS AMAZING. I would pay so much money to see a CGI movie of transformers - disparaging remark about Michael Bay deleted.

I would definitely buy a DVD of a movie like that. I loved Bay's movie, but I need my G1 fix.

All was great except for Megatron's head! Comon! That was near perfection! I'd pay $9 to see a movie like this, not like that Bayformers stuff.

Hey, maybe if the writers stike goes on long enough, they'll update all of G1 in CGI?
