The red legs/base mode is from a toy released in the 80's. I managed to get one as a prize at an arcade many moons ago, but it's not a transformer. The only robot it reminds me of is Ideon, but I don't think that's right either.

Hey folks, I've just joined and just started to collect transformers. It's fair to say getting an idea on what goes where has proved a challange, and there are still a few items can't sort. Would someone mind having a look? I've taken a picture of those that have me flummoxed (how I can't find anything on the trailer I don't know!) so if someone could help I'd really appreciate it.

Thanking you!

The tan articulated truck transformer looks an awful lot like Movieverse Overload...but it's not. Overload's hands aren't there.

More helpfully, that's one of G1 Bruticus's fists.

The upper left hand piece in shinobishinpads post is one of Scamper's arms/cannons from Metroplex.

Sky-Byte is highly disappointed in you!

It's RID Sky-Byte's gun, of course! It mounts in his beast mode mouth for storage.

Thanks! It was mixed in with my Armada and Energon figures for some reason and I couldn't remember where it came from.

No worries! Glad I could help. :)

Not sure if this counts as a 'part'..

I have several decoys from the 80's. Those little rubber Transformers figurines. Except instead of rubber, the ones I have are hard plastic.

They are otherwise identical to the decoys in shape and size, they are simply hard plastic. Anyone have any idea where these hard plastic decoys are from?

Perhaps its a KO? There's nothing that mentions a hard-plastic version of the decoys on Tfwiki, at least.

From TFwiki.net ....
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Bumblebee_%28G1%29/toys

The Wiki mentions the toy being soft rubber. Either you've got a variant, or its something else, but the pictures match.

Transformers Milk Caramel
Bumble (1985)
A soft rubber figurine—known in Japan as a keshigomu— of Bumblebee was released as part of the first wave of Kabaya's earliest candy toy line, Transformers Milk Caramel. Based more on his toy than his animation model, Bumblebee came packaged with chocolate-covered caramel candies, and was available in various colours, including white, blue, sky blue, yellow, green and orange.

Transformers Choco
Bumble (1985)
A small solid-color, transforming snap-together model kit of Bumblebee was released as part of Kabaya's Transformers Choco line of candy toys.

I recently made a trade and got a Movie 2007 Leader Megatron with instructions. He also ame with this spear-like weapon that throw a ice-like missile. Problem is, they don'T mention it at all in the instructions or any video reviews. Could this weapon come with a 2007 VOYAGER Megs?

Recently, I found that blue missile lying around. I don't have any idea where it came from. Do you?

Fairly sure the gun's from a final battle jazz (07 movie, deluxe), though i couldn't be certain. Nothing on the missile.

Thanks! Final Battle Jazz was obtained in the same deal too. The other one must have not remembered.

As for the other one...

SUDDENLY, BLUE MISSILE!

It belongs to none other than the original Optimus Primal.

Thanks!

Still, I see it's a shoulder missile and both were already in their respective slots. So that mean it's a spare.
Sigh... Now I'm still missing one of Primal's sword and his two secret wrists missiles.

All four of Primal's missiles are the same.

Overquoting to say that it mean I only miss one missile and a sword. It suck that I cannot store the missiles in his wrist. Maybe I should mod it with a knife or something. I just hope I can find the missing parts without paying a ridiculous sum for them.

To avoid over quoting again, the extra missiles store behind his head just like BW Cybershark. :)

Primal comes with 4 missiles. 2 can be stored behind his head, while the other two are inserted in his shoulder cannons.

Normally the 2 behind his head are used for his arm weapon. T takes the same type of missile.

I was sorting through some extra figures I have and I came across what I thought was a second Frenzy. I was taking a closer look and it appears that this one has reversed colors from the images of the other Frenzy figures I can find. I'm guessing this is a knock off because I also can't find any company marks on it. If anyone knows more about what this might be I'd appreciate the input.

ok, so does anyone know the purpose of the fold out part on the bottom of the motorcycle triplets molds of arcee, chromia, and elita-1?

it looks like maybe a stabilizer for when they sit on the cannon display stand, but it looks to have a clip installed made of gray plastic.

looked over the instruction, no dice.

hasbro did this with universe galvatron which has extra feet for a transformation mode detailed only on the instructions for the japanese version.

They were supposed to combine but the idea was scrapped. You can still connect them, but the results aren't exactly spectacular.
