Slight price increase at Wal mart

I think this just came up within the last week and I am not sure if someone posted it. Some of the store have had deluxes on a priceline of 10.00USD, but the norm I saw was 11.88USD. Now it seems they've raised it to 12.47USD.

Sucks. I miss my 7.77USD price...

EDIT: Looks to be just that one store in Laurens, SC. I went to the one nearest my house and they were still 11.88USD. :-?

Yeah, I'm a little bummed/annoyed by this too. I think we all got spoiled by the Christmas pricing. Here, they went down to $10, then down to $8 (USD)for a while! Now, like you said, they're back up to $11.98 (here, anyway). Target deluxes are a little cheaper now, if I remember correctly. I can't remember the exact price though...$10.99 maybe?

They should be $12.88, seeing as the MSRP is $12.99

Ours have Deluxes at $11.98 still, but they don't agree on Voyager prices. Some still have them at $21.99, others have them down to $19.99.

In my area:

Walmart:

Deluxes $11.88
Voyagers $19.97
Leader Class $44.97

Target:

Deluxes $11.89
Voyagers $21.98
Leader Class $44.88

All I need is 2 more figures from ROTF line and thats it for me.

I'm very upset with Walmart the price of TF went up and im about fed up!!! :BANG_HEAD:

sure id pay the increase if the sizes and quality wernt so poor.

cyberverse legion is now $5.77
cyberverse commander is now $9.96
deluxe is now $14.96
voyager is now $21.96

wonder why hasbro is loosing money...
why is it that the star wars figures and vechiles are still the same scale?

I saw this today too and it's ridiculous. The FoC figures might be worth the $15 price point but the Prid? Forget it, they aren't worth that much. I'll be sticking with the Voyager class for now, at least that hasn't risen in price...yet.

Now if they would just do a decent job of keeping them in stock or putting out new ones. Been nothing but OP and Megs in my area for 4 months now. #-o

Wal marts here are at 12.98 with target hitting 14.99 for PRID/FoC deluxes. Target still has their DOTM figures at $30 for deluxes, marked down to 16 LoL!

Which are they?

Also, TRU is selling the FoC deluxes for $14.99.

Because they raised the prices on them earlier. The SW vehicles were $19.99 USD in the early 2000's, went to $24.99 in the mid-2000's and are now $29.99. In addition, the vehicles still need to fit and interact with the figures, so changing the size isn't as much of an option there.

That said, the figures these days are smaller(some shorter, but they're all less bulky) than the Power of the Force II figures that started the Star Wars toy resurrection, but are much more accurate to the person they're supposed to be and definitely more articulated.

Dang just got back from my local walmart and deluxes are $15.47. Voyagers are the same price that they have always been. But what sucks is that my local walmart is still putting out dotm deluxes at full price :BOOM: :BANG_HEAD:, and the haven't stocked anything for the whole month of July. And when they do restock they sellout instantly before I get to the store. Plus the shelf space is just awful. The deluxes have 2 pegs wide by 3 pegs tall. Were the botshots go is spiderman stuff. The voyagers were booted for those crappy quick tech batman stuff. The store hasn't once stocked the prime cyberverse stuff since wave one.

Sorry for the rant, I just had to vent my frustration. :-x

I agree with your SW reply. I still own a 1st series POTF Luke Schwarzenegger.

I went to Wal-Mart yesterday looking at a couple of Deluxes (as if they had anything passed Wave 2  ) and...

...almost 16 bucks for a goddamn Deluxe?! I knew that Wave 5 was going to increase the prices, but I thought that was just because of the CD. We're going to be charged Voyager prices for some Kups & Rumbles, aren't we?

Ya, I noticed the price increase as well. I find Target is generally cheaper than Walmart for the most part, but there are exceptions.
