A new Auction from eBay seller ws_toys shows us our first images of Voyager sized Ironhide! This version is noticable different from the previous Fast Action Battlers Ironhide sporting a more detailed truck mode, bigger arms and bigger guns.

Hmm. I like the Fast Action Battler version better. At least the chest on that one closes in on itself. This one suffers the same fate as Barricade where he has a huuuuuuge chest width for no reason.

Robot is really ugly. Not digging the legs, head, and split-up chest. Pure WTFness, as usual.

other than the head i think it looks good. And at least he has real guns. None of this "my hands turn into guns" crap.

Otherwise, I'll stick Ironhide in the same Category as the rest of the movie toys: "Meh" (Real Gears don't wall in this category)

I like his arm guns anyway... Actually other than the head, he's ok. Maybe these new movie designs are growing on me.

He looks a lot like Armada Red alert in my opinion, except for the fact he's black, has a dog face, and has really big arm cannons.

Wow. That's a great improvement over the fast battler variant IMO.
I wouldn't call him Ironhide though, he strikes me more as a Trailbreaker look-alike.

The black pickup alt mode works perfectly for Ironhide! He's big, tough and intimidating, just like Ironhide should be!

I'm not so sure if they cannons under the bed of the truck work (a bit odd), but I love how accurate the GMC truck is and the robot mode is cool!

Not half bad. I like it...except for the giant wrist guns.

yeah it looks alot better then a stupid red soccer-mom mobile

Looks like I was right in my guess about the forearm mounted gatling guns...I am pleased. Very nice...

God that's ugly.


I can't stand the barrel things in his alternate mode(in fact, I think his alt. mode looks horrible period; the idea of Ironhide as a truck is great(not to mention it's not SO far off, considering he's been a truck before), but this rendition is just fugly).

And the chest... yikes, at least the fab version had the hood-halves meeting together.

As for a figure in general, he isn't to bad. Just, for myself, I think I'm going to rename all the movie figures and just work them into the story that I have going with all my bots already.

It's weird how sometimes new shows will coinside with my personal sagas, but I don't let them dictate what goes on with my shelf space.

Oh, and I don't like all the kibble on the trucks underbelly.

The head terrifies me. G1 Ironhide had the best (& only real) Ironhide head ever, & I don't mean the toy, that was crap, I mean the Cartoon appearance. Could've gone for a red truck too, not all this black........oh well, it ir what it is........*sigh*

I actually like this one. Looks like I'm getting Longview, Ironhide, and Ratchet. Not sure about the others, though.
