Edit: That's the Takara version, right? Man those guns look so much better when they're not just doused in red chrome.
Yup it's the Takara version, and there's no added parts besides the big black gun ;)

Cyberfire Bumblebee is a great figure! Yeah, he's one of ten billion Bumblebees, but he's one of the very few worth owning. Hasbro has been pushing so much Bumblebee so far down our throats for the past eight years, that veteran porn actresses are blushing. So I think it's worth pointing out that this is the only movie Bumblebee figure I've actively and vigorously sought out. And how could I not when he's got such lovely paint and rosy cheeks?

I attacked him with a silver sharpie to add some details, then I slapped a couple of reprolabel Decepticon badges on him. Much better! :D

More Bumblebee, in our faces, and in our Twitter.

Out of the Fuzors, I think Quickstrike has to be my favorite. His character in Beast Wars was great, and the toy is awesome. Thankfully mine hasn't suffered any looseness or cracking over time, especially considering that he's made of a lot of translucent plastic. Not bad for a 16 year old toy.

....

I bought this new....

Goddamn I'm old.

Feel old with me on Twitter! :D

Take how you feel and add 7 more years. :-(

Quickstrike is a great toy.

Just looking at Quickstrike makes me feel dangerously nostalgic.

For Christmas of 2008, my brother got me Music Label Soundwave in the Spark Blue colours. I was so jazzed I didn't even care that it would stop working half a year later like every Apple music player I've ever had has. Six months later it stopped playing music and was transferred from my pocket to my shelf. Fast-forward to last night when I dusted him off and decided to try him out with a fresh battery, and for some mystical reason, he worked again! I dunno why, and I don't care why, all I know is he works! I don't think he'll be an every day carry item for me, this time around, but every once in a while I'll pocket him and go somewhere!

Follows and retweets are music to my ears. :D

I'm actually quite tempted by the Sideswipe one.

Unicron as Black Hand from DC comics. Seems like a good fit to me.

I think it's Darkside Soundwave from the Takara AOE line.

The Titanium Series of Transformers figures was pretty hit-or-miss. I wasn't interested in the little die-cast statuettes, and the first one I bought was that horrible Megatron that turned from a block with a turret into a floppy robot mess. So I wasn't really too interested in it until I saw, and bought, The Fallen. After that I picked up Ultra Magnus at Zellers, then Starscream from a toy show. That's all the ones I have/want now.

While The Fallen and Starscream are rather well done, Ultra Magnus falls into a more mediocre area. He's alright, he looks good, he's NOT a white repaint of Optimus Prime, but the proportions are weird, and the positioning of body parts is off. However, it was the first Ultra Magnus toy I owned since 1987. He displays nicely, so that's the main part, just don't look too closely at him or you'll notice the not so pleasant parts.

Now take a nice close look at him on my Twitter! :D
