So, I stopped by TJ Maxx tonite after work and bought this...

So, my question for all of you, should I keep it or sell it? Not trying to be a scalper but they have been going for up to $80.00 on eBay.

Ah, the old should I keep it or sell it question again..just kiddin.

I guess it depends on your reason for buying it.

If you bought it just because it was a hard to find piece, and you got a great deal on it, I would say sell it, or trade it.

However, if you really like the piece and had been looking for it. I would say keep it.

That's my 2 cents...and I want my change back...lol... :P

I don't really care what you do with it, but it actually is a surprisingly decent figure. Doesn't scale with anything in the rest of your collection, mind you, but it's fun and looks pretty cool...

If you need a Masterpiece Movie Bumblebee that's the way to go. Add Buster Optimus Prime and you're set.

Wait... TJ Maxx you said? *adds to possible vacation destinations*

I didn't even know such a thing existed! How much did you pay? I might have to start checking my local TJ!

It was a COSTCO exclusive last year. Don't know how much TJ sell but I bought one at COSTCO for only $19.99.

I paid about $35 for this guy. Not too bad of an investment because he fetches almost triple that on eBay. I had to dig him out of the mess of crap toys they carry and a few Lugnuts. I don't have a really nice bee, so there's that, and I guess if I fall on hard times I could get money quick.

Yeah, me either. That looks pretty cool!

It's been a while since I've hit up Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Maybe it's time to go again!

Any proof?

I go to TJmaxx/Marshalls twice a week and haven't seen one.

It's early, and I'll be at work late, but I'll post a picture of the side of the box with the "proof" UPC tonite. Why so skeptical? It sounds as if you are a little upset you didn't find one.

That's a reasonable place and that's also what I was wondering last year too when I shopped at COSTCO. COSTCO was only selling them during Christmas time and they had tons of them. I was wondering where would they go after COSTCO took them off. Now here is the answer.

I'm not upset, Just interested in the information. If there's proof I will double my hunting efforts. Not saying you're lying, but there's a item number on the receipt that will help me get more information on How many they have.

I've heard of these being available at discount stores by others as well. But whether or not they'll show up at your local store is anyone's guess...

I was looking for that at my local Costco and they didn't get them. I ended up getting the normal colored one at Kmart on clearance. It's a great figure to display with my movie leaders, in alt mode. Bot mode doesn't quite scale very well.

I have the normal colored one too. Meijer put him on clearance for $30 back in March/April. Kmart has the normal colored one now on clearance for $27. I've never seen the costco version. I want it bad. nice find

I wasn't skeptical Dogma, just doing what everyone does when a awesome find is found.
I'm doing the party foul, I grabbed one of these today thanks to Dogmas information.

Bad news is, this is a very small buy, we are talking 1-2 per store only to the high volume stores at that.

I picked one up today at Marshalls. This is a nice piece for sure. I am keeping mine, and don't care what they are going for on line.

Thanks a lot for the heads up on this Bumblebee finding it's way back to retail.

  ...

uhh.. to any of the other owners of this figure.. does your(s) neck move? the one on mine is completely stationary though it looks like it should move. and ive been googling pics of the other versions (non-gold battle ops bb & mpm bb) and they have their heads twisted and turned..

Yes! The head can move left to right.
