The main line's mediocrity made me forget how stunning the Leader Optimus Prime mold is. I can't even fathom owning the Black Ver. The pictures are mesmerizing - it would be infinite ecstasy if I purchased it IRL. .

Can you put the Black Jetwing's chrome parts on Striker and snd at least tell me how it looks? Is there a way for him to hold ALL those weapons at once?

Unfortunately no. On Striker the gas tanks have been remolded again to accommodate the blasters, which leaves no room for the jet pack to be attached.

Glad to see the site's back up and operational - thanks for working hard at-it, Ryan!
I, too, would like to know where you got the stand (and how much they run for)...

So Ryan, of the two non-black redecoed versions, which one's deco do you think you prefer? The Takara original, or the Hasbro Amazon version?

Thanks Ryan/Seibertron!
Just ordered a few of the Matty Collector 2.0 flight stands, but still need something to handle the big guns. I imagine the Flight Pose stands will do the trick!

I prefer the original but the only difference are the extra paint apps on the Hasbro version. The base toy is the same. I think for the price difference, I would recommend people go with the still in-stock version from Amazon regardless of what I prefer. You're actually getting more. Seems silly to pay $80 to $100 more for less paint apps.

Coolest figure I own. Got him for a steal back at Christmas when Amazon had him for $50 for a few days. He's worth every penny even at $100. So impressive. I don't mind the paint apps at all. Looks even better with Reprolabels amazing set. This figure's so remarkable that I get a bit nervous thinking about how HasTak will even come close to this level of perfection with TF4's inevitable leader Prime, especially since the recent TF: Prime leader figures have been such disappointments (hollow legs, fake parts, gaudy gimmicks).
Btw, the calf plates need to be popped out.
