Still, sounds good. I'll believe them when I see the toys.

That's the most likely outcome. A few Deluxes, perhaps a Voyager or two, a whole slew of repaints....and Cyberverse.

Well, we already have proof of that. Redecoed DOTM Legends Soundwave in Cyberverse packaging that says TransFormers. The rest of them clearly say Prime.

We might see some movie stuff and things like that in Generations, but for the most part it's going to be stuff we've seen already. Or stuff we don't care about.

Something tells me that something completely awesome that's just going to make the entire Transformers fan community to just die of nerd-gasms. Even the Mayans knew that whatever's coming up would just be completely fantastic.

I'm not a huge movie fan, but WTF is with Hasbro showing off toys and then not releasing them these days? Ever since Animated it's like they get way too ambitious and plan too many toys and the last waves never come out. I kinda wanted that G1-ish Wheeljack, and now it's going to cost twice as much if I choose to order it from overseas. Maybe if they'd stop doing 4+ Bumblebees each line, they could actually fit some more characters in?

Anyway, otherwise this sounds promising with Prime continuing and Generations becoming a big focus. So far it sounds too good to be true, but more Generations is always good even if they can't deliver.

Awesome, Marvel Universe Death's Head for 2013, supposedly pretty accurate.

I have no intrest in the movie, so the shift to Generations (which is all I'm interested in) is great news to me! Also glad to hear it's so far in the future, honestly. I bought Herc and STILL want the newer MPs and those are pricy as Hell.

We'll see what kinda stuff they put together for the new Generations, but ... honestly, with 40+ there's BOUND to be some great stuff in there. The fact taht they're even making a REAL Bruticus tells me that the game is ON.

What exactly does "Brand new Animated Series" mean? O.O

Granted, most of the words start with a capital letter but the capital "A" in animated makes me wonder if it's the season 4 we were robbed of or a whole new cartoon... I'm wagering the latter, but a girl can hope xP

It just dawned on me. FOC toyline DOES NOT equal Generations. Those 40+ Generations toys don't count Bruticus, Shockwave, etc.

Whoa.

They meant the Rescue Bots show. As much as a season 4 of Animated sounds delicious, too much time has passed since the end of season 3 and now for there to
be a season 4.

Damn. If that's the case, then it makes me wonder if they're all going to be homages to strictly G1 or all across the multiverse.

FOC Bruticus is my Classics one, just so ya know.

Hurry up with the photos, guys! You've been scooped by TFW2005, Action Figure Insider, Allspark, and even TFormers!

40 new Generations? Listening to the fans? FANTASTIC! Sure, some will be repaints, but there are bound to be some goodies, too! G1 ARCEE, please!

New FOC figures! 8-}
Now....what to do about shelf space... :-?
I really am looking forward to these now :) Plus, hopefully distribution will finally be fixed in March and I can walk into a store and get a RID Soundwave at retail price instead of finding him for $40 on ebay and pay shipping on top of that. Heard that scalpers??? SUCK IT! :BOT:

Quality, not speed. You guys know me with my pics ... there'll be nice crisp photos, close-ups ... more pics of more toys than any other site covering this. That's always been my mantra.

I'm pretty sure they said at the toy fair in London that the FoC figures were going to be part of Generations. Think about it, if they weren't Hasbro could be running PRIME: RiD, Generations and FoC simultaneously. Is that likely? I'll answer that question once I'm back from my snowball fight with Satan.

40+ characters is still hellish impressive and there's a lot that could be done with it. If PRIME and Generations are going to be the main lines in the foreseeable future then it can't make sense for Generations to stay exclusively deluxe, I just hope that they don't go smaller.

What do we say:

Confirmed= 8
FoC Optimus, Jazz, Shockwave, Combaticons

Theoretical/pure speculation= 8
Remolds/repaints of RTS Laser Optimus, Gen. Kup, FoC Cliffjumper (seems like an easy one to do), FoC Megatron and Starscream(because you would), FoC Thundercracker and Skywarp (longshots but easy money) and a rumoured Sixshot.

That's 16. Thought about including the First Editions, but if they already know there's 40+ but aren't sure of the fate of FE's then don't suppose it'd make sense. I'm pretty sure we're in trouble though.

Still, AWESOME! :APPLAUSE:

The package of FOC Prime does say Generations on it with Fall of Cybertron at the bottom.

I'll be fair, Hasbro has wowed us before, but let's be honest here...

Lately, they've dropped the ball and seem unrepentant about it. I'm not saying they won't wow us when it's all said and done, but at least prepare for the possibility of getting shafted here.

It's better to go in with realistic expectations and a little bit of hope, than to get your hopes all the way up and end up being completely destroyed.

I'm biased, I don't deny it. I don't have a lot of faith in them because I know they're capable of great works, just don't follow through.

Yep, some of the other sites' pics are pretty terrible. Your photography can do justice to the new figures and show them off right!

Speaking of pics... I finally saw what was on display.

I'm incredibly disappointed.

FOC Optimus sucks.
FOC Jazz looks good in robot mode, but the vehicle mode doesn't impress me at all.
FOC Bruticus looks much better in these pics.

PRID Starscream is a joke. So glad I bought the First Edition. No way the Voyager can top him.
PRID Bulkhead is horrible. I can't even begin to explain it. Just saddening.
PRID Leaders... I knew they were unimpressive, but Optimus is terrible. Just...no.

Generations looks to be my only viable option for TFs this year. Outside of a few PRID molds such as Breakdown.

I'm angry with Hasbro. Almost enough to tell them to stick it. What's gonna be the straw that breaks the camel's back? Because this is darn close.
