Masterpiece THUNDERCRACKER Available For Toys'R'Us UK Pre-Order

This is great news for all UK Transformers fans and collectors alike!
Whilst scouting my local Toys R Us, fresh with the knowledge of a US TRU exclusive of Masterpiece Thundercracker in their systems, I quizzed their very helpful manager Darren on the matter.
I asked if I could place a pre-order for the Transformers Masterpiece Thundercracker which Toys R Us had gained an exclusive release for. He tapped a few buttons, called a colleague and hey presto, there 'Cracker was on the UK systems and available as a pre-order (delayed pick up)!
As you can see from my picture below he is priced at
£59.99 but not going to be instore until
late August/early September time.
There is still no confirmation as to which mold will be used for this version.

Good to here i might have to pre-order him myself i'm going on holiday the 7 September i think im going to be saving some spending money for when i get back
.
I only have Skywarp with the addition of TC it might finally tempt me to pick up SS off ebay at one point , i don't really care what mold it is myself .

Thanks to a little detective work by Seibertron.com member
robotmel we have more information/confirmation regarding the recently discovery Toys"R"Us Masterpiece Thundercracker. After speaking with a Toys"R"Us UK store manager he was able to successfully pre-order the figure. It was priced at £59.99 (about $92.00 USD) and scheduled to arrive late August/early September.

Cool, though I may not jump at that price. I got Skywarp for £20 out of Argos so may wait and see what happens with Thundercracker.

I have the TAK Tcracker, but I would jump on a more toon accurate version, especially if its the new seeker mold.

SDCC is right around the corner. Seems that Hasbro is waiting for that to show the bulk of the big reveals of the year. With a little luck, we'll see Masterpiece Thundercracker and Voyagers Breakdown and Thundertron.

I hope MP TC is not $92 in the US. Maybe if we're really lucky entertainment earth or another company will have him and Optimus prime remake at SDCC. I'll be wiped out if bought those 2 and the exclusive Bruticus. Anyway, wonder if US stores will let us pre-order?
Oh, and almost forgot --love the Devastor hand blocking the receipt! Hilarious!

And I'm exactly the opposite. I want a matched set of season 1 Seekers. If this turns out to be the old mould I'll buy it to go with the Hasbro SS and SW and have the trio in the AHM style, if not I'll be looking toward picking up the igear versions and possibly selling on my legit Hasbro Seekers. Between the price they go for and the assembly error the TakTom TC has never really been on my radar.

Of course being a TRU exclusive means it will only ever be available at full price and unless you can extract one from the shipping box yourself while they sit on the floor waiting to be shelved they will be beaten up to buggery and look like someone has punted them around the stock room for an hour - just like Grimlock and Roddy did.
Still an all it's nice to know I'll be able to buy one at all, but I want to know if MP10 will be following TC..........

Has it occurred to anyone tht given the G1 themed Generations-packaged-Movie-Starcaream; this *could* be a T'Cracker repaint?
Not trolling, just saying its something to consider. I know the price point points to MP, but thats only a tenner more than leaders retailed at during HFTD and that mould was considered an MP by Takara.....

Honestly, I’m a little surprised by all the enthusiasm for Masterpiece Transformers (especially ones produced by Hasbro) given their general flimsiness.
I would much prefer a HFTD TC, as unlikely as that is.

If by HFTD you mean Hunt For The Decepticons, then yes that is very unlikely as that line is long dead. However if you want a deluxe TC, well the Generations one was just in stores last year.

I was actually referring to Pretender Skywarp's (albeit wild) speculation that it could well be a TC repaint of the HFTD Leader class Starscream similar to the Asian exclusive we have recently had a peek of.
Also,Generations TC was certainly nifty, heres hoping one day we get a Sunstorm to keep Acidstorm company.
